The only thing im pestering him about is making a patch for it, because their will be bugs, lots of bugs. I don't like to call people names, because who am i to talk, but seriously i'm beginning to think some of the people on this forum are total morons. seriously how many time have i mention patch? How many time have i mention pls release the damn thing already? I tell you right now i haven't once asked him to release it ! Get a clue man. This is one of my favorite mod and want be the best it can be.

Thank you. Just doing my duty. Some one got to tell them, what they don't like or they will never know what they need to improve or fix, but people like you will alwase be my hero.

Dontai, you shouldn't talk out of your ass.

You claim 2.0 will be bug filled when you don't know what you're talking about. 1.0 had bugs because it was just plain rushed if I remember correctly. Even so, 1.0 is a great game and I've had the same amount of fun with it since November of last year.

2.0 is even better, twenty times better as Alex has said, and honestly, three testers are HAVING A HARD TIME FINDING BUGS.

Let's put it this way


1.0 = Fun

2.0 = Fun x2

Bugs = In everything (including my drinks)

It's like I said a page ago-

After facing 1.0's bugs, there's probably not much in 2.0 that will make me super desperate for a patch.

If there's any super major bugs, I'm sure that everyone will join in with ya and ask(complain?) for a patch.


There's a reason testing was so long- because you know, I know, and everyone knows that 1.0 was a total disaster due to lack of bug testing, and if that happens again, there's probably no chance that interest in this mod will spark again.


So to sum it up:
If 2.0 has some sort of uber-death-game killing bug, a patch will come out, or else Killing Floor will have been much been developed for nothing, having a playerbase of probably less than 15 people.

But beta-testing for as long as they have now, along with the experience (and horror) from developing 1.0 have hopefully cleared out most of the bugs.

You gotta remember: A game will always have bugs- it's how bad they are that matters.

The fake-HDR not working on some computers wouldn't be as bad, as say.... Sirens being able to attack you from across the map when they're stuck in a wall or clipped outside or something.

It can't be any more obvious that any concerns about patching un unreleased mod are completely hyphothetical.

(Hypothetically, )I'm sure that any (hypothetical) subsequent patches will be to address (hypothetical) major gameplay issues and exploits only.

Dontai, I think you need to understand KF2.0 is not a completely different mod from 1.0, completely rewritten from scratch. It's not going to have any more bugs than 1.0 did, and thats only if Alex didnt get those fixed, which hypothetically speaking, would be stupid

I sacrifice 6+ hours per day atm to help fixing the remaining bugs and I plan to stay some time to make hotfixes/patches if there are bugs that are affecting gameplay (Only if Alex is okay with that of course)
