wel i download the mod i go change the shortcut i start game and all i see is a black screen
and did also try redownload but it didnt help?
anyone can help?

Did you hit Escape to bring up the menu?

I guess you already have the newest garphic card drivers installed, and have DirectX 9c.... Also, do you have the newest UT2K4 patch ?!

Try loading up the original UT2004, then go to Community then User Mods then active Killing Floor.

hm i think why i got a black window on which monitor size does the game start? i have got that on warcraft 3 the game was on default higher window size then my monitor can be on so i had to change it just with thinking with my mouse that was hard but abit fun so and how i knowed it was becouse i did press print screen on keyboard and pasted it in paint and i did can see it wel on paint so i tested print screen also on this mod and same did happen so but now i need to make that this mod window size ge smaller anyway heres my window size i can hold 1024X768

Go into your UT2004\KFDemo\System\ directory. Open up your KFDemo.ini and look for the following section:
[WinDrv.WindowsClient] WindowedViewportX=800 WindowedViewportY=600 FullscreenViewportX=1280 FullscreenViewportY=960
Chage the second set of lines so that they look like this:
FullscreenViewportX=1024 FullscreenViewportY=768
If you have any refresh override programs, make sure you're not trying to set it to a refresh rate higher than your monitor can display.

wel i did already try that it didnt help cuz it aint the size bug i have just set StartonFulscreen=False then it works wel the game and the screensize was good but when i set it on full start screen i get a black window so i have to play with nofullscreen winwod this needs to be fixed (btw fun game cant wait to play it online

I now see what that one dude was talking about, leaving as much of the .ini blank as possible so we don't force our specs onto other people. This problem will be fixed in the next version. Sorry.

yea i geta slightly different issue where after the intro movie shows it remains black till u click, ive had the same problem with the intro i worked on a little bit ago, and theres a simple solution.
Make an extra scriptedtrigger which triggers at the end of the sequence, drop in an ACTION_GotoMenu and specify the menu class and .u package where it asks. Then no matter what, you will end the scene and go to that menu, though it should work by default.
The default .inis really are more conviently done if u just make em the stuff that needs to be replaced, makes em easier to read thru too.

it's just my fucking around with the Matinee.
Ill fix it , and in fact ill be revamping that whole intro movie, it was mostly just an "EXperiment" in Matinees.

heh well it wasnt bad. Maybe a little movement in the zombies in back and it would more than suffice for an intro.
