Great mod...the music...

What is that music from? Specifically the menu music. I really dig it and it sounds so damn familiar. I'm listening to the KFMenu.ogg file and it's driving me nuts.

I hail from Duck and Cover, where we cover crazy shit like this.

A couple people about the forum did those, actually, original-like. Zynthetic did the in-game music and Rattic did the menu music.

heh, my guess is it was intentional but the ingame music was something I wrote as a demo. I don't /didn't intend to complete the current form. In fact, it's been effectively replaced by something better using the same sample library.

hehe, glad you like it! Its an original composition, however, I can't deny the Nine Inch Nails inspiration. Tis what the boss was looking for. I hadnt heard any NIN tracks until this project. Was asked to listen to the NIN track from the KF trailer video, and then from there I headed over to MTV.com and watched some of their videos. (someone also posted a link to their latest video on a music tech forum I go to) I then mixed this with what I know and with what equipment I have available.

I'm actually planning on buying some NIN albums now after this ;D Very impressed with their music!

BTW, you can download the MP3 version from my site, or as mentioned above the Ogg version is included in the KF music directory.

Yes, I can definitely hear it. I was thinking how perfect your music would have been in Doom 3 or Quake.
