And i see alot of merged maps appearing if i work like that. I've already got nearly triple the defualt number of maps from stuff i've started and dropped

Cool...get to work I think we can all agree we need a couple more maps...the current ones are starting to get old. And just think: you could be playing and your map would come up...you could say "i mad taht map".

Well, spent a few more hours on it today and i've got about 60% of the basics sorted out. Once i get that part and most of the lighting finished i'll post some screenies in another topic.

Suprisingly 2k4 is alot different from unreal T99 if you want to get fansy. Making water, terrain, music, sounds, effects, meshes (i use to think meshes were gay cuz it was cheap instead of makin it by hand but now I must have meshes ) and the game modes.

no its not much different, i can map for both ut and unreal1
yet when i look at ued3.0 i start to think small, and when i first saw the ued1.0 i thought it was complicated, this takes it to a all new level. mappers who read this will think "bah, whats he on" well they can say that cos u get used to things after a while...

i think il just take a ut2k4 tutorial so im not putting doing anything wrong.

im a realy iminative mapper and i come up with lots of shitty ideas, etc , and because i live in uk i have good advantage
