Set the shortcut to your install of UT2004
so change it so it's pointing to YOUR UT2004\System\UT2004.exe
and then leave the kmod stuff on the end of the shortcut.

For the shortuct this is what mine looks like: Target: C:\UT2004\System\UT2004.exe -mod=KFmod
C:\UT2004\ should be wherever you installed the UT2004 game, like if it is in program files or on another drive. Make sure there is also a space between the UT2004.exe and the -mod=KFMod. Without the space, it will not let you set the path correctly.

I had the same problem, but I took out the quotation marks and it worked.
Basically changed the line from: "D:\Program Files\UT2004\System\UT2004.exe -mod=kfmod" to: D:\Program Files\UT2004\System\UT2004.exe -mod=kfmod

At least on my compy, when i enter the right path with the quotation marks, it refuses to find the program. Best to just do-away with them things.
