Hello everyone, I'm new here! Okay, now, I've downloaded the new patch, the add-on, the total conversion and installed all three, fixed the path and everything, and yet whenever I try to start up the game, I get this: If anyone could help me out, it would be much appreciated.

from what is says "video:no Video" seems like you need a video card, lol if you have one, it dosent recognise it, does your computer meet the minimum requirments of ut2k4?
sorry i dont know too much about technology, thats all i can offer.

Problem is the line: Video: No Video
Means UT can't recognize ur graphics card....
Try drivers, or try running UT2004 by itself, it shouldn't be a KF problem, but just to be sure....

That's impossible, I have an ATI X850.
To answer your question, yes, I exceed the minimum requirements.

Check and make sure UT2004 runs properly. If it does not, try deleting the UT2004.ini file in the UT2004/system/ directory and restarting, if that works, but KF does NOT, you may have to copy some bits of the 2k4 ini into the KFMod one, otherwise, it's a problem with your computer's hardware configuration.
Make sure newest drivers are installed and running properly, look on google or in the atari forums for anyone having a simmilar problem, and give us any additional info on the problem and what you did to try and fix it if it dosen't go well.

Hmm, that's odd. I can't seem to find the UT2004.ini file. There is an .int file though...

There is a relatively normal UT2004.ini file in the main KFMod directory, maybe try copying that to the UT2004\System directory? I know that normally if there is no .ini, the game will make one, but also that the ini is required to run the game.
Also, does UT2004 run, is it only a KF thing?

I tried to run UT2004, and it said my CD-Key was invalid...

It didn't do that before I installed KF.

Well something messed it up, so if running that program fixes it, all the better.
Basically what happend has not happened to anyone else (that I can tell) so there must have been something wrong somewhere, I am merely going through to make sure something didn't go wrong along the way, since KF does this to no other computers.

I tried to run UT2004, and it said my CD-Key was invalid... This can happen if you install mods into base 2k4 folders (ie mod system files in ut2004\system) instead of maintaining thier intended directory (ie: system files in ut2004\kfmod\system).

That's not good. ... Is there an automatic installer somewhere, so I don't cause any further damage to my computer?

The installer WAS automatic... unless you're a *nix user, in which case you're stuffed, coz you'd have to make your own. *nix doesn't do .exe files.

If it was fully automatic, I wouldn't have to change things around.
