Seeing as there's no area for other offtopic stuff, might as well start it here;
The Dead Walk[/u][/i] is a forum-based roleplaying game that is a classic survival horror, in a situation reminscent of both that of Killing Floor and Urban Dead. You can choose one of four basic classes and learn new skills as you survive, as well as find more weapons.

The rule system is very basic and a nobrainer, really. Roleplaying is encouraged but not ultimately neccessary.

Rumours and speculations, as well as uncovered secrets from ex-Vidiceler Inc. employees revealed that they had been working on advanced cryogenic freezing, with government funding. Shortly before the outbreak, government records indicate that funding was cut due to unknown reasons. It turns out the freezing process was going badly, and whilst people could be frozen and revived - afterwards they were mindless zombies with a taste for flesh, and were clinically dead. Vidiceler, not wanting to lose an opportunity, turned to the military, offering to try to turn their horrible creations into the ultimate soldiers - ones that would not feel pain, question orders, become scared, tired and so on. They secured Military Funding, and the program continued.
