How do i stop the light from overflowing through walls? This is just annoying: There is probably a really simple solution...like change this setting here and hey presto but whatever it is I don't know it.

maul, unfortunately, dynamic lights are pretty rubbish in Unreal Engine 2 .. there's no way to prevent it clipping through BSP, short of decreasing the radius on the light. Usually there's a middle ground where it is large enough to affect the intended area, but without clipping. Sometimes not. Thems the breaks

Thanks for the info, I may just do it as a basic light instead, similar effect just without the extra cheese. Thanks for the help guys...you will reap the rewards of your input when the map is done!

I'll drink to that. Maybe their use was intended for static meshes and terrain which react favourably to trigger lights. But trigger and tacit glows in a BSP map would like the Wizard of Oz on crack.
