Hi, I've made a first map. Sorry, I haven't got any screens. Just test it, you'll like it. Note: This is the Beta Version. I don't have any weapons lying around, but there's a shop. Not bad, I like the textures and the "Killing Floor Rulz" graffiti is awesome . Some parts of the map will be deceiving when the Stalkers show up because its so damn dark in spots But great map nonetheless.

If this is your first map ... well done Cool custom textures. i like it. Music was pretty cool (sounds like zombies in the background?) Loving the Killing Floor Rulz graffti, shows you are a talented artist. Only problems were... Some volumes were incorrectly placed (which left alot of holes in the map) A tad bit too dark, it needs lighting up. Zombies could'nt find me (paths need to be rebuilt) And i could still buy from the shop after closing time Keep practising ... practice makes perfect

its Time to Test ^^ edit: ok im done... and I found bugs : Like KiCk3R said... "Zombies could'nt find me (paths need to be rebuilt) And i could still buy from the shop after closing time" KiCk3R siad.. Thanks for your feedback. I try to fix the things you told me.
One Thing: The sky looks so shitty because I Don't Kkow how to use skyboxes. Second Thing: I know its very dark, but if you lighten it up you'll loose very much atmosphere. Third Thing: The Shop is pretty cool to get a save place. But if you stay too long in there the Zombies will go in there. I can't buy anything from there, after shop closing. It was pretty hard to do that "organic way " down to the shop, so I didn't think about if there could zombies go through. Some Zombies came through the organic way. If you've got nearly no ammo left, you'll be happy to be in that organic way. until the end of this week I'll try to fix the things you told me. THX again.^^
PS.: The music in the background is a slipknot song very slowed down.^^

i just have two or three things to say, what the other didn't yet:
1. mapdescription in german. (Is ja kein Problem für mich, bin ja deutscher. xD) 2. Why the hell do a weaponed (!) DRF-Squad go into the RE-Movie while a mass of zombies attacks the country? o0 3. The doors are oversized. 4. only a carpark, stairs and a mini-heliport? that's all? 5. No spawns upside->Go to a oversized door and shoot to the stairs is the easiest way to win because only 2 zombies can attack you in the same moment.

Pff, Killing Floor is such a bad decision for making a first map.
It's like your first word being "Kill". You can't just be normal and say "Dada".
My first map involved karma physics. And explosive barrels. And tight corridors.

The map's a bit dark, yes, which you know, but let's focus on the positive -- apart from me being knocked off in the first round (with 6 addbots as well, lol).
As with The Hive, I'll get back to it again. I'm just having a bad day. To the positive, RoBot has done an excellent review, so I'm going to struggle thru your map later and get to all the places RoBot's pointed out!
The trader upside down on a cross! That is an original idea. I wish I'd thought of doing something like that. From RoBot's pic, the skybox with moon looks pretty good to me. I had trouble with skyboxes too -- still do. I looked at Bunker's sky box and did mine that way as well.
I'll write again later about your map. You should know that I am glad you made it and allowed me the opportunity to play it!

I learned mapping with the tutorials from www.unrealed.deBut the Skybox and Terrain mapping tutorials just don't work correctly. I always do any mistakes. Comes time come Skyboxes^^ Espacially when the UnrealEd3 is out (I live in Germany that means just one week of waiting remains) I'll do more mapping. IF there is a Killing Floor for UT3 I'll definitly do a remake of this map. (Total rebuilt) and correct all the failures that you all told me.
