Thanks, Oh heres an early map concept I did in paint before I started this map. As the picture says some things remained the same while others changed. Theres technically 3 floors, 2 accessible, 1 for show. Oh little correction, where it says "Room full of specimens" it should say "Room full of specimen containers."

I'm still working on the map, got a little mappers block though right now. Not good I'm thinking of making the elevator lead to like an opening in a destroyed city or something but I'm not sure yet.

Echo, dont give up man, this map looks wicked.
Why not end the level like you said? The elevator leads up to the roof of some building in the middle of a destroyed city? Then you either go to the next level or maybe across to another building?

Well my very original idea was, I was going to use Resident evil extinction for reference and make the elevator take you to a massive desert. The area would be gated off with a bus burning at the entrance and a hole in the gate. I would literally surrounded the gated area by spawnpoints. But terrain isn't my strong point. So that shot that idea in the planning stages.

Alas the map is not dead! Quite the opposite. Ive started on the outside portion of the map. Its urban themed, like West London. Ill get a shot when I get the lighting done and stuff.

Well heres an outside picture. Right now its terribly ugly but eh. Also notice the maps name is Horizon, my first intentions were to name it that but there was already a map with a similar name. And it wasn't really original. The name will change soon.

Well yea, I was working without lighting to get everything down right. Also I used West London's skybox is that ok?

Updated Reread the first post for new pictures of the maps progress. Remember I welcome suggestions for rooms and different odds & ends. The maps completion at this point is around 46%. I promise a beta before Christmas or on Christmas for a gift
