Ok, forgive me for asking so many questions (and youve all been great on helping me ) I would like to know if this is a bug or it can be fixed. When you are running a dedicated server, why is it (on the client side) you can NOT see any form of emitters? like smoke / fire etc. Everyone has the same packages as the server because they are standard UT2004 emitters Eg. Fire. this is a major pain, as in the map i am creating it has alot of these. Also some (TriggeredLights) don't seem to be flashing or showing on the client side. Please advise James

Is that some sort of Actor class? or an option in the emitter settings? EDIT: OMG its an actor class .... does that mean ... i have to change all the emiiters to netemitter

Sorry. Ignore my post (deleted) Yes it's an actor class, subclass to emitter, but I changed my mind, in that I'm not sure that to be the reason. :/

You do not have to chaneg all the emitters, that's where I was wrong. If you want the emitter to "do something" it must be a net emitter.

Ok so far .. doing some tests told me that most emitters do work, But 1 or 2 do not. I had a test with the Net emitter with the emitters that don't usualy work, and its working fine now Thanks! There was just one other question i wanted to ask. Why does UT Editor lag when i click on a surface or actor? it takes like 5 seconds to highlight? is it because i have too many meshes in the map? or bsp messed up? seems to look fine to me! ive been very careful when subtracting!
