I have tried to import KF maps from the original KF to UT2004 and have been successful- partially anyway. Just wondering if there was anyone else out there who has tried doing the same thing.

It's very simple. The reason it would fail is because of custom code in the map, custom textures, and custom static meshes. Add the paths to the files in KF2's ini for the editor. This should allow you to open the map perfectly fine. Then you have to change every single texture to a a KF texture, or risk having a 120mb map
