How do you get the shadows all nice and sharp(i.e. the window) All I get is either no shadow of very faint

The windows are projectors. If your asking how you get them ingame, you need to check Projectors in your settings.

Or, turn your lightmaps up higher (which confusingly means setting it to a lower value) to produce sharp shadows. Also results in larger filesize, so beware.
