So, as a bit of a poll, what is the geneal community's favourites in terms of custom maps. I'm talking the ones they most play. An don't just stick with one. You think there's one you'd play more if something was changed? say what and why. There is a reason for this, and it will be revealed shortly ;D. Your input is appreciated.

Well, I might be new to the forum, but I've played for a while now. Rather partial to Thamesbridge, La_Casa_Muerta, Swamp and Manor. Can't really think of any touch ups at the moment. Been out to sea for a while. Though, when I get back into the swing of things I'm sure I'll find a few. heh

I liked city, however it made me aware that grim was a vindictive bastard. "Mmm...yes, the stalkers shall be completely invisible! And they'll all get trapped behind the traders building! Mwahaha! Now to punch that box of kittens for a while..." I've never played on train, however I like it because it lets me shout "SKRAKES ON A MOTHERFUCKING TRAIN!!!" Lets see...I liked grudge. No use splitting hairs on that one. I haven't played very many of the custom maps, as they were deleted during my brother's "Harddrive purge" as he called it, and I haven't had time since to re-download them. Which map would I like to see the most? I'd say maybe... about halfway down.

I like KF-school (new version), KF-Mall and KF-Desert with 2, 5 or 6 player.

here is my opinion:
KF-THS never played it because of the sreens and comments. looks ond sound like low quality.
KF-DeadRock looks intresting. i like the new approach but i doesnt make me dl and test it.
KF-Suburbs did dl it because the author jacksonl dont cares about quality. all maps are half done and suggestions for improvement fall on deaf ears.
KF-Nightfall the best map for a long time. great gameplay, good escape-route concept, challanging and beatable. only thing that could be changend is the clean look. more destruction and it would be one step more perfect:)
KF-Winchester. since this map i dont dl low quality maps anymore. the community tried to make suggestions for improvement but they never reached anyone. to bad.
KF-Desert its a map from jacksonl enough said.
KF-School (new version) i like the layout of the map, it creates intresting situations. much suggestions for improvement where made here but it turned out to make it worse. framerate, even on my machine dropped to pictureshow. to bad again. i am no mapper but i guess to have a plan before starting the editor helps alot. a plan for layout and details.
KF-Downtown with this map jacksonl got his branding.
KF-City great map. i like the darkness. only playable with a wave-setup without stalkers.
KF-Swamp the simple ones are often the best. also great for playing alone.
KF-Train i like the approach. but it runs a little low on options for the fight. but nevertheless a good map if you in the mood for it;)
KF-Grudge Grudge is a torture-chamber:) ouch!. very hard to play but it looks fair. its an uncracked nut but it will break. only thing you need to do is work as a team on 110%. i hate it, i love it.
KF-Tao true vacation:) sunny athmo, a pool in the middle, easy gameplay. great for beginners. only thing are the looooong ways to the ammospawns.
KF-Outdoor Pursuit great junglemap. stalkers mix very well with the high grass. true vietnam feeling. a little hard to learn but rewarding. the shop is quiet tight but thats ok. i like the mine field. many hate it.
KF-La_Casa_Muerte jacksonl-stuff.
KF-CityWide and KF-CityWide2 we play it often until nightfall came. the wide areas are cool for using the law. in later waves intresting situations are sure:)
KF-Colloseum i am no mapper but if i do a map it looks like this.
KF-Wasteyard a cool map but it shrinks to the room with the shop and the corridor that leads to this room in the first floor. all other areas in the map are impossible to hold. shutting down some spawnpoints and removing some fences, adding some boxes for shortcuts from the courtyard to the first floor would be a great improvement. and the update wasnt so cool. to much karmaobjects you get stuck on (these little cones for example), and the framerate goes down. i tried to get the previous version back but its gone. to bad.
KF-ThamesBridge a little bit like train but ok. the spawn point with the broken bridge on the other end of the map doesnt work properly. the zeds get stuck there.
KF-Mall low quality, no escape-concept. thats it.
summary: the look-framerate ratio of a map is important to me. the gameplay conists of chances for the zeds and chances for the players. if this balance is good the map is good.

I usually like all the maps, Especially swamp because Winchester is great from 2nd floor windows.

lol ;D but there is truth in this typo dam jacksonl. your maps ARE good just half way done come on. give ALL. !!! looking forward to your next creation lol next one's for you tronic EDIT* I think my next map may just end up being a [glow=red,2,300]gas station[/glow] in the middle of no where if anyone saw the movie the hills have eyes, not a big map but the central place to hold up in would be the station itself, I was thinking of getting some world war 1 trench warfare in and put some trenches out as a first defense maybe roughly the same map size as swamp just an idea at the moment. Definitely Night Time MAP but clear as day ;D so you can see those stalkers any objections or ideas to add to it?

cool a map for me ;D gas station is a nice idea. in the middle of nowhere, surounded by a forest to the north, a fence made of wodden planks to the east, an inpassable highway with brocken cars to the south and rocks with a sheme of a scarecrow in the west. the zeds enter from all four sides. the terrain gives good possibilitys for their hidden spawn areas one tankstation is burning a long flame leaks out of it and burns everything that walks throug it, players and zombies. you can lead zeds in it to burn em. the shop is in the cellar underneath the station. the cellar has a corridor system. one corridor leads to the working gap in the garage, another leads to the room with the tanks a litte aside the stations mainbuilding. there are two exists from the tankroom. one to the cellar, one to the surface. mainbuilding consists of four parts. cash and supermarket room, restroom for personal, garage, washroom. there are NO deadends in this map, exept the shop. and maybe all wepon and ammospawns are in the restroom. not scatterd around the map. this room looks like a last stand. six weaponspawns, six ammospawns. lets test this. very good, i like to cooperate with you. for good teamwork
