Try using the Unreal Editor. I heard it's easier than importing as a .txt file <_<

I have a good idea for a zombie themed map. Have you played Half-Life 2? well then, if you know Ravenholm, that is a good idea. Basicaly it was a nice quiet town untill the zombies infested it. now it's like a creepy, night time, crow full, body full, zombie full, desolated town in which just one crazy priest keeps shooting from the rooftops and shouting bible stuff

AFAIK, there are already a few like that. Perhaps you should go underground, like say an old warehouse or storage depot, where people fled to to try and escape. Then they died b/c there was no way out when the zs came.

This is what I do, take a camera wherever you go.. and take tourist pictures of places at various angles. find the pictures you like and map away!

A map with almost all textures white. oh that would be awesome. Like a black and white map. That would be awesome. Something to fit that kind of environment.

Well i dont.., maybe you do?
I applied white textures to almost everything in biotics lab and it looked nice. I used rgb8 light build and it looked far better than dxt3, any reason?

Last time I tried, I had trouble using the render mode commands in KF. I've got them to work before, and now they don't seem to want to play ball. What's up with that?
