Kyben, awesome that you are doing that man! I like how it looks so far! Is it going to be in motion? It looks like there are two trains, so if not, makes sense... but if so... be kinda crazy to have to jump back and forth on them, especially if you made them veer away from each other now and then.

Acually the trains are in motion. I have 2 trains side by side because 1 train is just to small, and it is cool to jump between them. The specimens can also jump between them but you can weld the doors so they can't. Unfortunately they don't veer away from eachother. Both trains are 6 carts long. Whats cool is I got a 3rd train that comes by every once in awhile from the opposite direction real close to the second train. The second train has a small ramp on the side thats safe from specimens, incase your getting overwelmed. But if you get on it at the wrong time or stay there for to long, the 3rd trains gunna hit ya. It's pretty funny when you get hit by a high speed train. ;D

Haha, yeah I did. While I was seeing if getting on the roof of the train would work. I jumped from the 2nd on to the 3rd as it passed, its pretty fun, but not suppose to happen. Alas, you won't be able to get on the roof of the trains in this map because it causes to much trouble. The trains are really big and lots or room to maneuver, I had to make them that way because fleshpounds couldn't get through the doors, so to make the doors bigger, had to make the whole train bigger.

Hah, that's cool Kyben and that's what I wanted to find out because the level could possibly be a little annoying if everything has to straight line to you in single file.

Kyben, also, it may be that it's REALLY early in the morning, but did I ever send, and did you ever get, my PM about Swamp and the upstairs windows? We had been noticing that the boards over the windows had a funny hit detection, and was interfering with gunfire the other weekend. Is it possible to remove or readjust them?

lol, I'll post it up when I think its ready for testing. Again, I don't like to set dates for anything. Yes, I did get the PM about the hit detection on the boards. I don't see how that can be happening though... I didn't put any collision between the boards, so the bullets should go through the cracks. Maybe your standing to close to them when you shoot or the guns aiming is off slightly? I haven't really checked that out. I could make the bullets be able to go through the boards so it wouldn't matter then, but that would mean another patch. The problem with coming out with another patch is that about 220 people are going to have the wrong version... eek... If it is a big problem for you guys, I will make one, along with toning it down alittle for the people with slower comps, I heard that was a problem as well.

Never had any problems with the PC load... Swamp's always been a godsend to me. I also figured the boards wouldn't be the problem, but it might be the way the game traces gunfire. It would probably be a lot of work to just remove/shift the boards, wouldn't it though.
Your call, it doesn't make it unplayable, but I've wasted a lot of ammo on it... if it's something that can be fixed in the next patch, such as tweaking the bullet trajectory, that might be better overall.
EDIT: I noticed you said "standing too close"... unfortunately, you need to stand close, as the way the boards are designed don't leave much opportunity for targets if you stand too far back. It's not always when I'm close, but that might have something to do with it.

i havent got the problem when im far back shooting it only happens when u are up close to the board but i have managed to fire by aiming below the sniper view of the winch.

I think I'm going to make a patch for swamp, if theres anymore problems at all, plz tell me now so I can put them in. Here's one pretty much finished cart on a train, alot better looking than the old picture on the last page. Most will look similar to this one, but I might get creative with afew: Looks better in game, I hate how my screenshots are really fuzzy lookin.
