A KF fan looking for some help.

Hi! ^.^
First post, oddly enough it has to be a problem with joining, and having someone join a server.
I don't do online servers a lot, but I decided to get back into the game, I did it with KF when 2.0 was fresh, and 2.1 was coming along, but not close enough. At the time all worked well, even the map pack.

I have the KF2.0 zip, KF2.0 - 2.1 Zip, KF 2.11 Com Patch, and the Map Pack from the main site. The Custom Map Pack.
Okay, I did the top three, then brought up the CMP. Upon reading a few threads, I redid 2.11 when I started to be unable to get anyone to join. Still can't. I was wondering if anyone can give me any tips ^.^
Also the server I've been trying to connect to is a fellow member of a Gaming League I've been getting off the ground, hes have trouble too.

Any help, would be liked ^.^

(I'm also trying to figure out what ports I have to have open too)

Well it seems he got his up and running. I can only hope to get mine running ^.^

Personally I only joined ill geisterbahn, most others have to be joined by IP.

What servers have you been trying to connect to?

Ironicly, the others work fine ^.^ now. Though I still can't host my own server, and have someone join it, my buddy keeps getting no connection.

Maybe the server has a older version of KF ?
