"Critical Error" with new patch.

So I went and downloaded the new patch,overwrite old KF files, started it back up and I hear music for about 2 seconds then get this message.

With a crash to the desktop

Any help appreciated.

EDIT: UT2004 and KF now start up with nothing but a black screen and a looping sound or don't start up at all, but the error message doesnt come anymore up, I have to control,alt,delete out.

Being as Corey is a dumb dumb and didn't test.

Try deleting your INIs they auto regenerate when you start the game.

Deleted them, tried to start up but nothing happens.

EDIT: Nevermind, oddly enough for some reason it works perfectly fine now. I didn't change anything . But I'm not complaining
