No HUD on joining or hosting (v2.1)

Problem:
When I join or start a KF server, I get no HUD, no menus beyond the initial ready screen, nothing. F1, (Player Score list) doesn't work, server announcements don't work, etc). I've narrowed it down to one of these four files,
KFmod20.ini
KFmod21.ini
KFmod20user.ini
KFmod21user.ini

but since I, like an idiot, overwrote my original files, I cannot find exactly what the problem is, or what caused it.

Workaround:
All I know is that if you get the original four files out of the zips, configure the controls how you like, then back up those four files, whenever (if ever) that problem happens to you, you can bounce back easily.

You can also just remove those and KF will make new versions it'self
make sure to put them somewhere as backup.

Might be a different problem.

But try going into your settings(In KF), go to the HUD settings, and sometimes the hud display button is unchecked, if it isn't that, then try turning up the hud transparency or whatever it is, to 100%.
