I hate 56k. It's taking me 12hrs and costing £20 for me to download 2.0.  . thank god for download accelerators. |

That's almost how much my 7M/512k costs me, slightly more of course but not much  Maybe the cost of a lunch. |

I know, I know. I'm in the UK and so It's possible to now get it free in some situations, but my parents first need to order the thing, and they take ages to decide when to do it.

I upgraded to 512k ADSL yesterday and the first thing I downloaded was kf2. I’m so happy.

I'm on 2MB Broadband. Its still too slow for me. I want 8mb!

my dad took about a year to decide to get 4mb broadband.

That's my situation. I got KF2 at my mum's school. But she got annoyed afterward, thinking that I was downloading school work. In the summer holidays. right. Also: If your'e trying to game online with 56k, if you listen carefully, you can actually hear the PC trying to suck more info down the line.  EDIT: actually, that's not cool. |

Got the same here...
With my own house being renovated I'm stuck at my mom's house...
The connection is pretty slow and she is planning to downgrade as she complains the can't afford it..

Heh, I can remember playing Diablo 2 on dial up. oh god it was slow and the only time i could play it was from 10p.m. and 6a.m.. I had some forced sleep deprivation to say the least. |

We only got DSL like...Two years ago at the most........So that was about....Nine to ten years worth of Dial Up........It was torture...
