Pimp my Cake

Right...So, we got Abyx here who makes guns basically, right? Well, I cook, yeah, odd. I know....Anyways, it was my niece's tenth birthday the other day, and she's obsessed with that T.V show "Pimp My Ride", so I made her a "Pimp My Ride" cake, hence the "Pimp My Cake" yeah...Anyways, the car is lopsided because I used a subsitute ingredinent for the shortening when I made the batter, so yeah. I was out of shortening and didn't want to go to the store, so yeah. Here's my cake that I made her...

P.S: The little oreo in the front who looks like a black guy, according to my sister, he's the host or some thing of the show. She told me to put an oreo there and she drew his face for me...So yeah, I don't watch the show to know.

The cake was made out of lots of things.

*Cake Base: Chocolate and Vanilla Cake batter (that I made myself )
*Headlights: Mints
*Taillights: Skittles
*Colors: Icing...Duh..
*Wheels: Oreos
*Guy in front: Oreo
*Lines and decorations: Tubed Icing? I'm not really sure what it is, it's in a squeeze tube, I never looked at what it's called. Yeah.....
*Side Decorations: More Skittles





No where close to good looking in decoration, but it tasted just fine, besides the spit my niece threw on it when she blew out the candles...But yeah...

Nice job! I'm an aspiring cook myself, though my expertise also seems to be dessert... great skill to have...

I don't think I could do cake decorations though... my ex-girlfriend was a decorator and would spend days on these huge wedding cakes... kinda turned me off to the whole thing.

Haha, I cooked for my parents like 25th annivarsery surprise party...Yeah, I spelt that wrong...I think. Anyways, I made like twenty loafs of Pepperoni Bread in one day in secracy from my parents, that was hard to do. And annoying, that's a lot of loafs....Plus I grilled hamburgers and hotdogs the next day for the surprise party too.....Talk about cooking , and it tasted fine to me...

Coo' man. My best stuff is my easiest stuff... mostly dirt cake and this eclair cake-thing. My mom taught me this awesome apple...biscuit...cinnamon...cobbler...thing that is just incredible. It never had a name, so we just call it 'Apple Crap'.

lol, nice name. Yeah, I think my best would probably be anything that's fun to make , which is a lot of things. If it gets annoying to make, then I usually do a little worse then I probably could if I put a lot of will into it. But yeah....Dunno, just fun to cook


But hey, I have six siblings, five of which are girls....My five sisters, and my dad, can't cook. My brother can, and so can my mom. Dunno, kinda odd to me...

I learned a bit from my host dad in Japan. He was awesome, like 6'1" and always wore this goofy apron. Drank like a boatful of sailors too.

My girlfriend and I trade off cooking though. I make things like Alfredo pasta and cake. She makes things like tofu, salad, and this complicated cassarole things. She did make an unbelievable okonomiyaki for us the other day.

But yeah, it has to be fun to make, otherwise there's not much point in doing it.

Of course! Always has to be fun to cook or it usually turns out bad....For me anyways. I learned a lot just from attempting things, and burning it. Till I got it right basically. Now I just have that knack to know how to cook things I've never cooked before just from messing around. Gotta love the expierence.
