I've been meaning to pick this up, heard a lot of good things about it. Casshern was a visual orgasm. There's a few awkward scenes and the plot is somewhat generic but this doesnt hurt it much.

If it's action movies with stories so incoherent that you don't even care anymore, then Ong Bak and Tom Yung Goong, both starring Tony Jaa.
Fearless, Jet Li's last action flick is okay, but not as good as everyone hypes it up to be. (Seen it already in Chinese, story is kind of bleh, but the fighting is really good- he fights a huge amount of different styles, ranging from martial artists to many european weapons, and one of those big wrestling chaps- with nothing being cheezy, at all.)
Seven Swords of Heaven Mountain was actually pretty good, if only for it's fighting. The story is okay, but the fighting scenes simply make the entire movie worth it.
To be honest, House of Flying Daggers and Hero are both utter and total shit to what is released in China. Seriously, I fell asleep during Hero because of how boring it was, and House of Flying Daggers was simply crappy beyond belief...
A hilarious comedy is 'From Beijing with Love', starring Stephen Chow, the same guy from Shaolin Soccer and Kung Fu Hustle. There was another one of his movies that I watched in Taiwan two or so years ago, but I never did found it it's name. But most of his movies are freaking hilarious, especially his older slapstick movies.
And yes, Aliens is possibly the greatest sci-fi flick to ever exist.
And Die Hard is probably the best action film to ever exist, also.
As you can see, I'm somewhat a fan of martial arts/action movies..

We're going to see that this week... that and Clerks 2 on Friday.
I liked Hero quite a bit... really dispised House of Flying Daggers... it was like they gave up trying to make the movie naturally look good and decided CG was better... just too much.

Hero turned me off a lot bc of the heavy and obvious use of wires, in every fight. Plus the recycled footage made the movie unecessarily long. Seen Ong Bak based on the word the main actor did all his own stunts w/o any wires, incredible stuff.

Tony Jaa is pretty unbelievable. Check out District B13 for some more awesome wireless stunt craziness. It features the founder of Parkour.
The biggest thing I disliked about Hero was that freaking Donnie Yen had no screen time... and yeah, the wires did get kind of annoying.

Reefer Madness? Musical? I've seen the early 1900's information video, not the musical... which is funny in itself, as it never gets tired watching one kid get the "reefer madness" and hallucinate that his girlfriend is cheating on him, which prompts him into a murderous rampage.
But yeah... Dumb and Dumber baby... the cop drinking the piss was right up there with the fake Rhino scene from Ace Ventura 2! I thought I was going to choke laughing.

Yeah, Reefer Maddness makes fun of that documenation. It's basically a comedy with songs, it's great. They drag out the affects of the "Reefer Stick", the one guy gets the munchie and starts getting hungry for human flesh, one girl takes a single puff out of the reefer stick and she becomes a slut, just stupid stuff like that they tried to use as a scare tactic in the old one, but in a comedy way.
