ok so since theres changes happening, i thought i'd play around and get the weapons looking better (personally) it's not a complete overhaul but this is what i got doing normal shotty ( i know you've changed it into something that looks like a rusty drain pipe, but still) dualies, yum yum and because the hand cannon is like a black stick before step 1 step 2 as to the rest, i'll look again tomorow i like the new (old from kf1) bull pup model on display, but prefer the new (kf2) texture look of it i can see where you guys are going, with the gritty look, but looks more like converting kf1 to 2 a bit i think the only other gun i was gonna look at playing with was the bully, winch and the rest are fine really buut whatever [edit] and not really done with hand cannon, was going to try and even out the texture shading

The shotgun I see no difference in.
The duelies look pretty cool, and the deagle is meh.
Are you asking to include these?
And yes, we are technically doing that to some extent.

shotguns just lighter and not a black stick i'm not bothered either way if you want to include them or not, who ever is in charge'll do what they want and the deagle was just a mini project to make it look somewhat better

either i miss sumthing or there is a really dumb solution to the dualie animation
weapon 1 fires check if weapon 2 fires (after each bullet) if yes then play dual fire anymation if no play single anim same for weapon 2

The duelie firing animation, is ONE animation for both guns.

You missed some thing basically, the dualies are ONE gun, in other games, it appears the double guns are ONE girl PER arm, so that means, two different animations compleletly, for our case, the dualies are all setup as one, so when you fire, it plays an animation the shoots one each side, because that's how the animations were made.

either the ut engine is pretty castrated or u can setup an animation to a certain event not just to both firemodes so if thats the case i see no problem
afaik it doesnt matter if there are two or thousand guns in ur hands what matters are the firemodes cause thats whats being executed on lmb or rmb push. everything else is just cosmetic

Did Alex implement the duelies using the UT2k4 duel machine guns? From what I can see they work the same combat wise in that when a player drops a pistol you can pick it up, I think what the guys are saying is that the actual animation isnt two guns its actually one animation but functioning as two seperate guns, therefore using different key mappings wouldnt work, well thats what i think anyways, hehe.
End of the day the guys are doing a fantastic job as it is, let them complete the patch as is, most bugs have been fixed and the new content added will be awesome, then if they do decide to continue support then we can ask for new stuff, yay!

ok, something i've noticed today, possibly someone else has before now.
we had an asshat on the server, sitting, welding a door shut and hiding, then going afk on map change so map wouldnt leave lobby.
is it 1) possible to make sure that theres a countdown so the map starts no matter what?
and 2 the bug i've seen today, even with kick voting enabled on the server, the list remains empty so we couldnt kick them anyway

Default is 20 seconds I believe. Kick voting has always been buggy, I'm not sure if we can fix that. Your best bet is to have admin privileges and just kick.

well we sat for at least 5 - 10 minutes, although the server had just had a map crash thing, voted one, it switched to another, so maybe it was dodgy after that

I'd imagine some people turn it off, though I always set it to 50 seconds myself.

I also had the same problem as Grex today. The server didnt have a countdown timer, we sat there like 10 minutes until eveyrone left.
But I think i'd be nice to make it so the server doesnt have a choice to not use the timer because most servers don't use it.
