NO BOLTS FOR CROSSBOW

first of all

i enjoy killingfloor very much. great work ;D

here a little bug i expierienced.

i simply cant buy bolts for the crossbow.
i bought the weapon. i get the point in the ammo ui but everywhere i look. only 0`s

nothing available. too bad.

well normally this doesn't bother me cause i am the "look me i the eye" type of zombie killer but for some more variation i need this bolts too

by the way: the winchester without aiming-help like look over the barrel or some zoom is pretty unattractive to use compared with the rest of the arsenal.

but again this cant stop me playing this mod.

Here's a disturbing fact:

The crossbow doesnt even fire real bolts at all ( in 1.0 release) It has an instant fire trace and a graphic tracer which looks like an arrow

For the patch I am totally revamping it to fire actual projectiles (which stick in walls) , and I'll be giving the winchester some much needed love too...

I agree, both weapons felt "undeveloped"

The winch is great for taking out small zombies as a headshot will down them nigh instantaneously, but I agree, it does need a little bit of polish.

Winchester aiming isn't all that difficult once you realize the bullet hits dead center. The problem is the gun model makes it look like the bullet will hit slightly to the right, so that messes most people up at first.
On a side note...you're gonna change the winchester? When I posted that it was hard to aim with you said I suck at video games . Hopefully it will be a good change, like a slightly larger bullet...its my favorite gun right now, so with any luck it won't be anything too drastic.

Winchester is now clip-based, and has an iron sight aiming feature.

Using the ironsight decreases fire rate slightly.

Is the new winchester, bolt or semi? not sure if they make a Winchester's lever action and have a "clip" per say, seen most of them with tube clips.

the bolts for the cross bow that are fired just look like a blur nad u can hardly see them, but u get that jolt of power wich makes the gun special,

IS your arsenal complete or were you thinking of maybe adding some new stuff still? not that its not enough just might have some peeps that coded a weapon from scratch for ut, it would give me a reason to spam that poor fool some more heh.
Oh ya and its faster to just throw your gun and pick it up than to reload it, dunno if thats too cheap but its kept me alive a little longer in survival

Anyway throwing the gun then picking it up, if that does indeed reload it, sounds like a bug; you should tell alex about it in the bug thread.

whan i want bolts for crossbow, i have to sell my gun and buy crossbow again -.-
is it fixed in 2.0? offcourse!
