Hey guys, I've been playing this mod online for the last few days and I came here looking for maps. Then I saw this forum on the single player that goes with this?
Maybe I'm just missing something directly under my nose, but I can't find any single player options or anything when I run this game. I've checked the FAQ and the forums for any resources on this but I can't find any. How exactly do I play the single player?

The single player mode was from the last release, version 1.0. It was omitted from 2.0 because it was basically gravy, and the multiplayer was the largest and most played aspect of the mod. If you'd like to try it out, you'll need to download the old versionEDIT: New link, one that takes you to the actual download, instead of some youtube movie of some guy singing a song that I may or may not have to sing for my ENG 205 class.

when you say its "gravy", what does that mean? =S No offense, but the omittion of 2.0 could use a better explanation for those of us who dont understand why it was omitted. Are you trying to say that it was omitted because multiplayer was more popular and singleplayer was just a waste to add in?

Not that it was pointless.

We refer to the food. Not many people here(With the minor exceptions of Grim/Micah and Macon Dead) eat gravy as their main meal. It's always "WITH" something. LIke tatties. And it just adds a nice taste.

There are two schools of thought. See that picture I posted? I'd call that "Biscuits and gravy with a side of taters," while others might call it "Biscuits and taters with gravy." Basically, people see different parts of the meal as the main dish, and different parts as the side dishes. Alex, I'd imagine, is part of group B. He'll take gravy on his biscuits, but he'd be just as happy only playing his biscuits multiplayer. The gravy isn't as important as the foundation, because if you have bad biscuits nobody will play the mod.
But, it might have been he just didn't have enough time to make some more gravy, as Abyx said, so we got dry biscuits.

And nobody seems to care about the plate(Unreal Engine), the fork(developing team), the spoon(Unreal Engine Developers) and the knife...the community

The community is the knife and teeth. The mouth is the download link.

Technically, the chef would be the development team, and the unreal developers would be the guys who invented biscuits and gravy.
And is nobody even curious about the taters?

When I download the old version file from this thread it installs fine, but when I try to run it, it says it can't find Ut2004.exe -mod=kfmod in the systems folder. Any fix to this?
