In killing floor 1.0 he was a DRF Commando squad leader. He and his squad went out to take on the zombies at the source of the outbreak. He later found himself not able to keep his squad alive, but also found himself to care little or nothing about it when they all died. He alone travelled to the source of the outbreak where he came to the horrible conclusion he was but a clone made with one single purpose.

Thanks, I didnt understand the storyline of Matterson at all that really helps. When his men were dieing I was thinking "What the f***!?! why isn't he doing anything?!"
