u would have the full version by the time a trailor is released, i agree too if its just been delayed (wait its like half life 2 isnt it ) people want the game out asap, not messing on with trailors. these type of things happen...especialy if life doesnt like you.

DajMasta has taken over the coding responsibilities for finishing the 1.0 release partly due to his experience with uscript networking and me not having enough time to focus on the mod for an august release. I've been in contact with alex and daj and I can tell you that they have been working day and night to get a polished release out ASAP and good progress is being made. AFAIK the other major issue.. the melee weapons not working in MP has been pretty much fixed. Right now playtesting is going on and its basically cosmetic fixes remaining. So hold tight :-)

BAsically, I could release it now to you guys. but you might be wondering why
1. Anything you buy from the gun lockers mysteriously deals no damage to enemies
2. Why none of the custom melee animations work ONLINE, so that swinging an axe looks like he's aiming it like a sniper rifle.
3. The infected remaining counter doesnt replicate ONLINE, so it's stuck at 26...not very helpful
the list goes on.
Hopefully this gives you some insight into the downright FRUSTSRATING and annoying problems that are caused by replication
understand this.
Offline / Online are two different games . They have to be treated veeeery differently, and there's nothing more annoying than working so hard on features which work offline to go on the net and see them fall apart or refuse to work at all.

Alex just tested Daj's latest build earlier today which I gather is pretty solid. There were a couple of setbacks with things that were working, not working again, but these have been resolved along with a lot of other fixes.
There still seem to be some spotty issues remaining with some items bought from the gunlocker for clients, but hopefully these will be resolved very soon.
