hi guys, The new KF looks awesome and trailer is pretty god damn fine tbh. I am not really much of a forum sort of person however I love killing floor and have followed it since seeing it in a PC magazine! There is very little technical feedback I can give as I am not a modder of any kind, however I am a fully trained and active graphic designer and with this I loved the feel of KF 1.0. I see it has rollbacked slightly to capture its essence which makes me happy. Not too sure why I loved 1.0 so much perhaps it was all the reds and darkness in the colour spectrum(player name, hub, characters...etc )or maybe the simplistic zombies that sat beautifully within the maps. Eitherway I am sure you have heard this all before, Anyways I would like to thank you Alex for giving me and fellow doorman a game to play when we finish work which relfected perfectly on the social frustrations we dealt with every night! With your dedication to your work (which I deeply respect as an artist) you have given me and friends so much fun memories to reflect upon! Nice work and take care

Yeah, so I went ahead and messed around a little and attempted to make a trailer for KF 2.5. For some reason I must have made the quality really shitty, but here it is anyway. edit - Went ahead and encoded the video again a bit ago. It should look a little better now. video.google.com/videoplay?docid=147527055297690930&hl=en

Well, I used Adobe Premiere Pro CS3, and the Adobe encoder, but I encoded it to wmv. I figured it would look good enough, instead it looked like shit. Learned a lot about the program though since it was the first time I ever used it. I used to use fraps and windows movie maker or the cyberlink program. Adobe definitely makes the programs I used to use look like kids toys though.

I've heard that song before....its used.....alot. i dont understand why. it sort of fits a medieval context, with the sort of mournful buildup you'd expect to see with a pan over a field of dead after a battle or something, and then moves into this kind of paced string orchestra beat that might have been at home in some bits from the the movie "gladiator" is that where its from? I just dont think it fits with the modern day setting and the tone and mood of Killing Floor. I guess that's all down to personal taste, really. I likewise probably wouldn't recommend some death metal track when the action kicks up, but maybe somebody else would. Hmm. Interesting to think about because it reveals how each player feels when they're playing
