Alright well the idea with a map review is that for people who want to get an overview and the good and bad of a map before downloading. I won't review any more of the maps as long as its going down like this, i will only review NEW maps, such as my upcoming FULL ANALYSIS of KF-Gothic. ;D

Celotex Admin - 1/10This level seemed like a practice with the editor more than anything else and it is a mystery why it is in the map-pack. Very poor lighting, no ambient sounds, the scaling was extremely poor even though it is difficult to pull this off in Killing Floor. Also very poor texture choice. Tiny map. Ok well I never wanted this map to go into a map pack. The scaling wasn't terrible if I may say so myself. Also if you would have tested the last version *which didn't work on dedicated for some retarded reason* you probably would have liked the map. Yes the maps small and the texturing was good enough to try to pull off the feel of a subway system. I started that map about 9 months ago and learned alot of new concepts and ideals about mapping but unfortunately was learned to late to make a difference. Just wanted to throw that glob of backstory at ya.

Yeah I can understand, I know you've improved since. No hard feelings buddy, but mapping is SERIOUS BUSINESS imo. If your gunna do it you might as well do it right. Otherwise it is the biggest waste of time in the history of the planet. More of a waste of time than creating Halo sequels.

Halo sequences always come out funny though But yea I wasn't trying to pick a fight just gonna throw that out there for the other people to know that although the very first release blowed big time the final version was awesome. And tripled in size.

KF GOTHIC V2: www.savefile.com/files/1200288 ;D And off-topic here. I see you have a KF server, Maul. When I was in Oz (Brissy) and I had a 56k modem I could connect to the US and even Euro game servers -- I played RedBaron2. The lag (late at night in Oz) wasn't that bad (pings max 400). Now in the UK with broadband, I can't even get a ping reading on your server, Maul. Local Euro connections are fairly fast here, 60ish pings. But I was playing a Canadian server last night (nice people -- KF-Swamp latterly, always popular) and the ping was over 200, under 400. Maybe the problem is the internet is bigger these days so the international connections are slower? Like I say my 1.1k connection is fairly fast locally. German connections are good as well. Can I blame the Halo wowsers and their ilk?

Uh to be perfectly honest with you my server is usually just a LAN game with my friend and I, we hook my laptop up to my mums desktop and frag away. So chances are thats why you can't get a reading...because its not technically a net server. However sometimes they show up in the net server browser for some reason. And if you did somehow manage to join the server it would have MASSIVE L-L-L-L-A-AGGGGG due to it being a LAN.
