It was a really old interview I think. Its in the Wiki. And yes its true Alex has moved on to Depth. But he said he would finish this patch before he goes. Which is a helluva way to go if I may say so myself, making a kick ass patch then saying goodbye. Its better then leaving without saying anything or something.

After recently completing Resident Evil 4 (Sunday night), I actually think the trader looks much like the one from that game, however KF trader looks more feminine.

Yeah I noticed em too, its very much like the Resi 4 trader. Someone should make a map where when you enter the trader or press enter it says the Resi 4 saying, hehe
