Ok, this is what i came up with the other day as a story mode gametype with what we've got
It needs improved upon, possibly to allow other options for winning or losing a map, but if you see how i was looking at it, the progression to each one kind of makes sense
I was going to start writing a little explanation as to what happens in the events of that level to make the progression to the next one.
It doesn't matter if a map was won or lost, as the story i'll write will explain what happened depending on the result
So basically this shows, following the key and the start of the story, your team in the chopper, crashes into a building, regardless of the result you move into West London.
Then depending where the level ends depends how it moves on, and i've already got most of the stories figured out in my head as to how it joins together into each level
If you end up in the jails, move into Prison, in the church, La Casa Muerta (reason in the story thing) or on the streets to Winchester (V4 preferably, it's much better)
Problems to be seen, some maps have only one route, and i was thinking of having this as a competition of teams to see how it works. And what would happen if a team failed on a one route map, just try again?
More of it would come down to, difficulty of the server, skill of the players, and possibly allowing say, 3 attempts in total across the campaign if you fail a map
You play the same number of maps either way so there's no real way to cheat ahead And most of the maps available are included, so far as i could work them into joining together.
As far as joining together goes, i was looking at the theme of the level and how it could join into another, example being Swamp, as it was supposed to be around the back of Manor. And on Manor, in the caves, there is the zombie spawn the looks like Outdoor Pursuit, and in Outdoor Pursuit, there is an entrance to a lab or bunker, so i've overlapped what themes were already there.
Currently ends at Grudge, could possibly add to it, possibly finishing up at the Tower (if anyone's read Stephen King)
Thoughts or Ideas?

(these are more like, the map descriptions)
Crash:
Your chopper has crashed, leaving you and your team stranded in some warehouses. You saw West London as you were going down, if you can just make it through here, maybe you will have a better chance of surviving.
Win:
You successfully pushed back these strange creatures, whatever they were, and found a path along the river, leading you into West London, maybe there you can find some clues as to what's going on.
Lose:
Your team were forced to retreat, you barricade yourself into a tunnel to stop whatever is out there from finishing you off. Further exploration leads you out to the riverside, that pathways directing you into West London.
West London:
Carnage in the streets, rotting corpses litter your path, something very wrong is going on here and the radio has gone silent. You move past a church, noting the graffiti daubed across the walls, "The end is very fricking nigh", heading for the police station at the end of the street, hoping someone is still alive.
A:
The doors to the church have been welded shut, but to no avail, they soon fall under the pounding of these undead monstrosities. Firing wildly into them, clip after clip shreds their flesh, your team mount the altar making a last stand. Before they get within reach, you break through the church windows, landing heavily, you're helped to your feet and pulled onwards. You head for a building with a flashing sign and an open door, someone mutters "La Casa Muerta", as the door slams shut behind you.
B:
Pushed into the basement of the police station, you pass row after row of cells before coming to a door between them. You hurry to get it open, your team keeping these things at bay in the cramped corridor between the cells. The security switch overrides, opening and letting your team in, you all fallback, shutting the door, it locks itself as the creatures get to it, but it looks very strong. Nobody notices the sign upon the door, "Maximum Security Prison", you push on.
