The early morning suns beams crept through the cracks of the boarded window. And they showed their gentle light onto his face, he woke up quietly, as gentle as the light was, and sat up. The ringing in his ear started again, “oh shit”; he quickly hid his long jet-black scoped rifle, his black pistol, and his short sword. ‘It’s happening again’ he thought. The moans came back, the wounds were burning again, and he was slowly slipping out of consciousness. ‘God help me’ he thought. And then darkness.
He opened his eyes, and it happened again, he was walking without control, he tried to stop, but his legs just kept on going, he tried to hold his legs, but his arms were stuck at his sides. None of this mattered anymore, because he spotted a woman crying in front of a creature’s body, ‘A survivor! Shit if only I could walk to her’, but he was already walking to her. The woman looked up and screamed, then started running. He tried to shout ‘Wait, I’m not one of them!’ but all that came out was a low groan. After a few minutes of run and chase, the woman tripped, and he walked over to her to help her up, she was screaming and sobbing, but when he tried to help the woman up, he didn’t stop at her hands. He was clawing her with strange disfigured hands, he tried to stop himself, but when his mind sent signals for his hands to stop, they just started to claw more violently, and he started to actually bite chunks of flesh from her. He started to black out again, and the last thing he could hear was her last dieing words “forgive me kotya”
