Anyway, I don't believe Alex is working on 2.2 anymore, I don't think he has the time to work on KF, Depth and go to school all at the same time.

But that's just my opinion and not to be taken as factual

Because I still talk to him on MSN occasionally and he never mentions KF. And I think you're just being too hopeful about the whole idea, because last I heard, Alex didn't want anything to do with KF anymore and simply got dragged back into it. But again that's just how I percieved it from what I know of what happened.

And, no, you don't know he's still working. I don't think you know anything about the work that goes into mod and game making.

Neither does pointing out something that I obviously must think makes me more mature and cool because I talk to Alex. LOL OMFG I R 73H 1337.

Of course everyone is entitled to their opinion, but the simple fact is a little poll stating that three(or soon more) people are "dieing" to play a new version of a mod most likely isn't going to change anything.

For one I work on a mod as a modeller(To prove that my above paragraph is indeed true), I've worked on KF as a modeller for a very brief time. In that time, he showed me screens of some very awesome features he coded in, many of which would have completely roused the community.

But again, the simple fact is, he hasn't been to the forums in awhile, hasn't posted any progress and hasn't said a word about KF to me or anyone else(To my knowledge). So again, my opinion is and clearly stated. That he is not working on KF at this time, work possibly(Though a null chance) will resume in the future.

And if you had been around long enough, you'd know that me, and several other community members tried to resume work on 2.2, and we did. Untill we realized our supposed coders were(Are) morons and didn't know what they were doing.

So, go ahead and vote but don't think it's honestly going to do anything.

Whenever I get around to moving (soon, found a house just need mortgage and repairs) I'll be digging out source CDs from storage. There could possibly be a 2.1-1 w/ the combination of whatever faust has done and what I'll be adding.
In the least a mutator for actual hardcoded playerlimit and clientside enabled forced default models.

Its a shame too. For me KF is perfect except balancing issues. Gun damage, specimen damage, and changing the difficulty so its not ranging from Impossible to Elite Impossible.
I think it died when Alex started considering fancy flashlights, an accuracy system, ammo trading, and a Coop mode, thinking anything less than that would just disappoint people after he announced it. I know as much as Abyx, but that is my opinion. I highly doubt a patch will be delivered from him.
