sup peeps, just now i've created a kiling floor dedicated server 24.13.216.170:7778 called the more brains you have, the smarter, JOIN FTW! well anyways, i just wanna know what mutators works good on killing floor, i tried the ut2004 rpg mutator, didn't work so well yea, also if you wanna join my server join my ventrilo chat it'll be up same ip ^ with the port of 3784

I dont think there's any muts that can be put on a kf server that won't get ppl to stop playing on it.

Robin's Server and the German RPG server have a RPG Mutator implemented, however the mutator changes KF so dramatically that it isn't fun anymore.
You can ask them about how they implemented their RPG elements, however please-please-please make it so that the RPG mutator is at least balanced. Or has some kind of cap.
I don't like seeing people with 218321581531 health running at the speed of lighting gunning down zombies with a L.A.W. that has 2000 rounds.

When I dedicated server nobody can join in you gotta open the ports on ur network router if u have one, open ports 7777 to 7788 and also JOIN MY SERVER FTW ;D

7788 it doesnt work with me ( i cant dedicated server ) 7777 it work but nobody can join in what ur name sever ?

yeah ! I played it yesterday ... fast shooting , low grivity and big head ;D but i dont saw anybody join in

Some major bs about rpg: the only limit ive put onto it is 125 max hp (due to a bug hp also gives a speedboost) and i removed the superjump perc.
the normal kf just gets way to boring after a while, i mean i know all the weapon and zombie spawns on all maps out there, i know how to axe anything but a timmy, i know how to dispatch of masses of timmy and his buds with 2 shotguns, so wtf was left for me to do?
So the server went down for some weeks but at some point i discovered rpg and that sorta brought some life to the game, a new challenge and all.
Until lvl 100 its still like the old kf because timmys own pretty much any1, but after that there still is that nice oldschool highscore thing, as lvls are persistant. And i was finally able to knife a timmy (got like 12 of em knifed by now).
well the only downside known to me by now is the ammo bug, that gives to much ammo for the first bought weapon, i asked faust about that but he meant the shoping code was way to "hacked" to make an easy solution for it and he had no time to look further into it. Sad but it looks like we will have to live with that annoyance.

uhm... just put it in the enabled mutator list? (hope i dont have to tell you that you should extract the mutator files to the ut2004 system folder)

KF is a great game when played as a team, the thrill of soloing a Timmy with a shotgun may start to wear off, but the feeling of a commited team and coordinated gameplay is such a great feeling. 2nd Paragraph Objection: New challenge? So instead of comparing how well your team and you can hold a building, it's now "how high lvl r u?" "ZOMG gvie me ur stats distrubution reccomendations!" "how many timy can you kill with a knife?" Well, if your in for that sort of thing....good for you! I think it's silly. Third Paragraph Objection: For me, oldskool scoring was funner when doing a speedrun, I always enjoyed trying to get through DOOM levels as fast as I could, the only game where I tried to get a highscore was pong and Pinball. (also, KF doesn't feel like oldskool to me ) Also, levels being persistant(If I understand you) sounds boring, so then after lvl 1309903 then everyone will be an insta-kill with a pistol, and you can throw hundreds of grenades a second, what will you do then? Just go for the next level up? Kill Steal? Fourth Paragraph Thoughts: You expect Faust to change hardcoded code, for an idea that is frowned upon by the majority of developers and the community? We have to live with the annoyance of people trying to bring in RPG/Default ut2004 character skin ideas, and you have to live with the annoyances of that.

well i wish u best of luck in finding at least a halfway not noobish team on the servers nowadays(the maximum of ppl i ever saw on all servers together was about 15 but normally there is only 1 filled server or nobody at all) oh yea sorry but that not winning part really sounds like a looser phrase there is no teamwork in kf in case u havent noticed if the team is at least halfway pro u will try to get the ppl to the spawns and retreat to a certain area(shop on bio & church tunnel on westlondon). Healing is reduced to self heal due to lack of time in timmy wawes and otherwise u just dont get harmed So the greatest tw feeling u will ever get is like "WOW thanx guys i wasnt raped from behind" the holdoutplace comparsion goes in the first week of gameplay its like: "hey lets hold the church/manor/house/roof/place_your_deathtrap_here" if the ppl are REALLY good they could survive until Wave 13 but in 90% everyone just gets raped in the same wawe the idea came up. Sorry to wake u up but all games are about virtual length comparsion so that lvl part is fun as it gives u the chance to experience kf game play in a quake/serious sam way [quote(also, KF doesn't feel like oldskool to me )][/quote] if running gunning and killing things with buddyes isnt oldschool then doom or zero toleranse arent either first of all try to even reach lvl100 atm i have about 150 users in my rpg log 50 of them are >= lvl 15 and their average lvl is 51.84 monster lvl=lowest living player*0.6; so if i have to solo that means that my timmies are regenerating lightspeed bastards which suckup 4 shots from the hunting shotgun and can take me down within 1 second well if that isnt challenging ... the majority doesnt give a fuck about kf athmo as there is nothing like that anyway there is sure as hell absolutely no1 playin for the sake of being scared or for the joy of level architecture The majority of the developers isnt always right as i havent seen a single person who would admire the new zombie skins or the new bullpup or the lack of ironsights also in all my rpg playing time ive only seen 2 ppl complaining about rpg and they just started playing...
