Problem online

When I try to play kf20 online, i click join a server...and it just goes to the pic of a hand twicthing.....then black if I click my mouse. It never joins the server....ummmmm help!

First, you should update to KF 2.1 click

If you can join a server now, you don't have a problem anymore. If not, try another server, where people are playing.

If you can't join there, I can't help you.

I have 201, just its called 20 on my system.....but still nothing....its weird as hell. It should work but it just goes black if clicked or the textless menu screen.

When that happens, open the console and type "showhud"

That might help you on your "debugging".

OK I got it to work.... kinda. It says retrieving KFSchool, but I downloaded the map and extracted it in the right place. Why is it retrieving it? Plus its takin forever. Also I only see two servers with no people. Is that correct or do you guys use some kind of tool to find servers?

Yes, they're' ussualy only 2-4 servers with people in them...sadly.

But it says there is no one in them. And can someone tell me why it takes so long to load the level even tho I downloaded it. Its like that for all of them.

Well, the downloading thing should be either because of you not installing it in the right way or the server having an other version of it. Then the map could simply be huge and/or the server is badly configured/has a slow connection @ the slow download.
