Going back a bit...
Lt.Kage's Killing Floor:
Imagine your a few British Marines who have been sent out to "neutralise the threat". You get driven up in a military vehicle, dropped off.
Theres about 20 of you, instead you see hordes of bleeding corpses speeding it towards you, stopping to feast on a maggot infested caracss left on the side of the road.
Before you get time to react, you're friends and your colleagues are getting torn up in front of you, they're coming frm all sides, but luckily you and a few mates escape and it make it away from the huge hordes.
Weaving in and out of backalleys and buildings, hoping to find some way of escaping this hell hole.
Your guns are damaged and your uniform is torn, where you have struggled to free yourself from the scratching and tearings arms coming towards you.
They realise their guns are useless....
....so they stop by a phone box and order a few Car-15's with a lasersight and a few M4A1 with 8-12x scopes ontop. They get bored and decided to through in some M60's and maybe an MP5A4 with red-dot scope and a double-mag clip.
....It just doesnt make sense... What does make sense is that they grab the nearest thing they can find. They root through kitchen draws to find some sort of sharp object, kitchen knifes, chair legs, fireaxes, crowbars, screwdrivers, hammers, metal pipes...
Occasionally they stumble across a dead marines body, grasping an L85... So they take what few rounds they can from the magazine, search his body for food and water supplies... and move on...
Think about it... if you were in that situation (and in England) WHERE would you find those weapons your talking about??!?!?! I mean, an AK-47... Maaay be likely... but still....
Unless they "unfortunately" get attacked in a weapons warehouse... there's NO chance they'd get those weapons...
They're not marines anymore... tehy're surviors
