i have a question: what`s the exploit in firing the shotgun or law while jumping? i have a comment about Weapon accuracy / movement system: it is surely more realistic with this feature but standing still to shoot at the zeds is a real luxury. these creatures are designed to keep you on the run. espacially the fast ones like stalker, gorefast, crawler and fleshpounds. to weaken the possiblity to run away and shoot is the same as weaken the guns generally. another question about less default carry-capacity and higher prices: the game is difficult allready. with these alterations it becomes more difficult. whats the aim of that? i play KF 2.1 alot in my lan with four to six peps per session. depending on the map and the experience of the players our win/loose ratio is 50/50. thats good. i am looking forward to see what impact the new patch will have on killingfloor. The reasoning behind the lessened carry capacity is that it prevents "mass weapon sales" In other words, I have heard alot of reports of people getting their hands on LAWs or hunting shotguns after only like the first or second wave, because of all the cash they earned from running around the map finding winchesters , etc and just selling them all to the trader at once. The current setup allows (more or less) enough space for One "large" weapon, and one "smaller" weapon. If you want abit more elbow room the option is there to upgrade your pack-size. But it's gonna cost. The aiming system is in there to reward people who call their shots. It's not like if you're moving you are totally ineffective. In fact, some people may not even notice that it's any harder to hit zeds while they're running at all. The fact is, the accuracy system is pretty lenient, but there is a clear incentive to crouch and shoot or slow down before you try taking shots at range.

If I might reply with a post from a while ago... hey are you still online i love doing rocket jumps reminds me of a game caled kingpin iff i like i could go on server and wee could do some neat rocket jumps to places not even god would of thought of ^^ Unfortunately a significant number of people don't sit down to "play" a game, they log on to "beat" the game. I'm not sure how much kickback the guns do, but even the slightest bit can increase someone's jump enough to get up somewhere the infected can't hit. If they can no longer do a law or shotgun jump, modders don't have to worry about it while building their maps, and you can log into a server without seeing all your allies standing on top of a door playing fish in a barrel.

so you can do a shotgunjump ;D thats funny. well, i guess that is an exploit. @alex: i did some sound-modifications to the KF-soundsheme. since i am no coder its the original uax. files with the modified sounds in it. if you are intrested i could upload them and give you a link to it. maybe you give them a shot. @alex: i am a great fan of killingfloor since 1.0 i play it alot in my lan. i am also a great fan of ballistic-weapons. go here for more info: www.runestorm.za.neti like to see these two great mods combined so i asked the peps over there if they could do a mutator to link the ballistic weapons into killingfloor. well, i ask for your permission to do so. maybe you like to go here for more information: www.runestorm.za.net/pl/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?23391

Would it be possible to fix the Behind View camera so one could shoot up and down aswell? Im a big fan of thirdperson, and i don't want to see all that animation work done in vain! If there is a way to fix it so one can aim with it on without programing, i'd like to know.

I concur, that many fleshpounds on normal is just insane. The only times I've actually seen people survive the final wave is by using an exploit to help them. Also, can you implement Grex's assortment of skins he has made for the KF Players in this upcoming patch? They're really nice. HEY ! u dont know what ur missing, just put some weird stuff in like i do im sure u can handle it. And i havnt seen the scrakes much recently....probably cos i made it so every wave is fleshpounds, thats how much i love em. No gate jumping ? are u trying to ruin my life, jesus, this is just too good for moo too good.

Anyway, the bullpup IS a light machinegun, it's meant to suck in otherwords. The sound is just fine as it's a rip from the actual sound of an SA-80(Which the Bullpup ingame is not, but it's as close as could be because from what I understand they sound the same being as the internal stuff isn't too much different.) So there you go, the sound does NOT need to be changed.

No point in even having a bullpup if it sucks. Takes a whole clip just to kill a clot. People say its an ok backup gun for when you run out of ammo with your powerful weapon, but rarely do you have to worry about running out of ammo and why have that when you can have the shotgun which is 10 times more powerful and weighs about the same. Dual pistols are equally worthless. Either make the shotgun fun as hell to shoot, or gimmie something else to shoot with.

bullpup sucks way more than it would in real life... you could empty a clip into a concrete wall and do more damage than if you fired it at a specimen. power it up.

Dualies and the Bullpup are both very well, if, you know how to handle it correctly. It requires, more skill then the shotgun, you can't simpley point in the general direction and shoot. However, the bullpup could use a tad power damage raise. Shame to see the coolest weapon in the game to not be used.

Well, the crossbow isn't really the main, sniping weapon, suer it does the job, but the Winchester is better in most cases.
