this idea is to give KF more strategy and to give something a bit more scarer than the average gore fast. kf class make every one start out with different equipment
medics -med syringe -shock paddles(revive players.unless if they really screwed them selfs up) -knife -dual 9mms
soldier -knife -grenades -bullpup
sniper -knife -9mms -winchester and now for the idea for the concept of the new specimen
ceberus the ceberus is simmular to werewolf but it seems after constant genetic splicing and engineering it escaped .He was once human but now something much more terrifying. health:650 (with the ability to regenerate) damage:35-40 special abilities:can walk on walls knocks down players to score extra damage

Hmmm....Nice ideas, though the sniper (i think anyhows) might be a bit overpowered, maybe replacing the shotty with a 9mm?
I like the Hell-hound, it could be weaker than the fleshpound, but like a super-Crawler?

want this speceimen to be a overall freaky. the helhound should like a werewolf and can leap,cloak and climb yes think the health should at least be toned down a notch yeah your right about the sniper having a winch and a shotty look up top i fixed it

Maybe have him break dance and shoot lasers 2?
The classes system was already in KF once or something like that if i remember correctly.
Tough i do like the idea of a new specimen in KF.

the hellhound was inspired by a werewolf movie called dog soldiers those werewolves were hardcore but if you dont know what the dog soldier werewolves look like heres a brief image caution use you own discretion hope alex uses the idea for a new speciemen becuase quite honestly im getting tired of blowing holes in timmys with handcannons and shottys

Not to disagree with you, since you have a pic of Leon as your avatar...but god I hated Dog Soldiers but aside that I don't believe they could cloak or jump on walls they seemed rather...lame actually.
Classes would be interesting but they wouldn't make it any scarier, just more annoying, would we just ditch the shopkeeper entirely? You'd have to rebalance pretty much the entire game to make it work which there's nothing wrong with but many people here would probably dislike it, if you improved the current system and made the seperate weapons even more necessary classes evolve themselves during a round. You do get players who'll go Xbow and others who'll go HS making soldier and sniper kind of exist anyway.
Personally when you said Hellhound (it needs a totally different name though, since the creature names are all not quite generic maybe excluding the Siren and Stalker however) I though of this kind of horrible disproportioned mutant with fleshy pink skin and tuffs of fur sporadically around it, don't make it a jack of all trades though.
If it was a more savage Zed possibly it could knock the player down or maul them in the face dealing extra damage but moving at erratic rates.

I really like your idea there.
And I think I´ve got a solution for the evolving-problem. There could be a different choice of equipment for each class at the shop.
Medics for example shouldn´t be able to buy Hunting Shotguns, LAWs, Crossbows, etc. Maybe even a grenade maximum of 2 or 3 and no armor. Shouldn´t be able to carry as much as a soldier.
Snipers: Winchester, Xbow, pistols, maybe Handcannon. Grenade max of 4 or 5, half armor. (compared to soldiers). No health syringe.
Soldier: Everything except: Winchester, Xbow, Health Syringe. May buy full armor, 9 grenades max.
Mhh ... looks to me like the Soldier is still overpowered. Maybe we could make the medic an engineer, too ? So that only medics could weld doors. Or at least faster/to a higher durability than the other classes.

If the Medic's loadout was altered, then he would become somthing like a 'Support' unit, much more emphasis on team work, this 'Support' unit could use the light weapons, including Duelies, he could have full armour but none of the heavy weapons like the HS or the Winchester and the Xbow, he however, could be the only guy able to use those welders and medical syringes, his speed could be about average, later in the game he can become more sueful as he is the only one that could buy the L.A.W.
The soldier would be able to use most of the weapons, ecxept the duelies, Xbow, winchester and LAW? So that teh support unit can play a more combat role later in the game, though the soldier may be the slowest of the classes.
The sniper, while possibly the weakest, could no doubt be the fastest speed but little armour, proberly only able to use duelies, Winchester, Xbow.
Nice ideas thus far.

To be honest I think the game is pretty darn fine as far as "classes" go, no need to narrow down the options a player may have. Labels constraint the play instead of liberating it, while the weight system also forces the players to make rational choices in their outfit.
And about a new monster... Dunno, I think it would better to make the Scrake appear in lower level waves to add more variety. I know plenty of people who don't even know it exists.

If any changes are to be done about the game, it certainly doesnt need classes. We make our classes in game, no weapon constraints. Mostly it's HS or in a few rare cases Xbow (i like to use it) that are used in later waves. I would like to see other weapons getting used.. Making a SP or storyline multiplayer campaign thingy would be better. Or best: My assault idea Changing the game like that... I don't think it's needed. Other stuff should be prioritized instead. I have yet to complete all the waves on normal, but i wouldnt mind a new zed, it's just not needed very much yet. The only thing I can put my finger on is that winch sights seem to be a bit off still. I dont bother aiming with winch, since it only increases my chance for missing.

Gotta say the werewolf thing would be really, really cheesy... none of the other ones exhibit anything like full body mutation, so it would be kind of out of place. Besides, the way that none of the creatures in Killing Floor fit typical horror-monster niches is kinda nice... they're almost zombies, but not...
If there was another specimen it should fit the theme, maybe a genetically designed super-medic, one who carries a number of nanobots in his (or her) body and by it's very presence regenerates its comrades. It would look human, fits the super-soldier genetic thing, and fills a place that no other creature holds: support unit. It would also pose a new strategy: do you want to target it, or waste the extra 3 rounds it'll take to defeat the nearby Siren's new gift of regeneration? A wall-walking cloaking super strong leaping werewolf just sounds really bad because it takes away what makes each creature unique and dangerous. No other creature shares their traits, and it shouldn't now.

Idea is great,,, But why not give the sniper a crossbow? or a real sniper:D If this will be applied, it should be a diff. gametype:) Cuz I like the old:D But cool ideas;)
