There was a quake mod about this, actually. It was called Far Cry. *grins*

Actually i'd considered a more light hearted mod after this one..Hell i dunno , something about Squirrels or Birds..something highly stylized, but very dark in visual direction.
Ever seen Tim BUrton's work? ;D

lol, Saint. I'm afraid that wouldnt appeal to me as a gamer or to work on audio for...Killer Sasquatches do seem to be rather popular atm though Beastie Boys dedicated a song to one Alex, you mean a bit like this? www.tarsier.se/metronome/ Looks like a pretty neato game. I only know of a Nightmare before Christmas when you say Tim Burton. Being a fan of Discworld (series of books by Terry Prattchet) I'd love to do a mod in that kind of light (fantasy, trolls, dwarves, Death, wizards etc) ;D

The closest thing i can think of is...
American McGees Alice In Wonderland.
he took the LSD induced world of Alice and gave it a Tim Burton make over. Everything is now terrifying and indsutrial...Dark, but also full of magic and beauty.
It's truly an amazing game, based on the Quake 3 engine. You should try it.
one of the best SP games i've ever played.
Oh, and yeah that Metronome game is in the style im talking about.

American McGees Alice. I still play that from time to time. Great story, and great conversion overall

OK i've got it!
Sasquatch Hunter 1.0!
YOu're objective is to run around with a Camera getting snapshots of Sasquatch footprints.
When you have enough footprint shots, the sasquartch voice goes
EXCELLENT
And out from the trees comes a furry mass that you must defend yourself from
The only catch? No weaponry.
That's right, you can only tickle this deadly and furry fella, and you will inflict more tickle damage if you get him behind the ears or on the belly.
Winner takes all.
That is, all the beer you brought along.
and if you lose, he eats your polaroids and scampers off giggling.

Dude, I'm telling you. FarCry's done the sasquatch thing. And whatever you may think about it being 'real game', it's just a crappy quake mod, so in the end, we'd just be copying them. *grins*

I dont get you? I never said i believed in him, I agree about the nuts out there. But your sarcasm is going a little far one this, you dont want want to bother then dont, but dont piss all over me because I like the idea mate. I also said a good werewolf game owuld be neat, ever play the elders scrolls bloodmoon. Only problem it was RPG and Medieval. I was saying that any game done well with mosters, Zombies, Werewolfs, or just plain monsters can be fun. I assume you never played ANY of the carnivores series back then? Its just a shame the only time a game with dinos etc are when a movie comes out, look at how they butchered T3 war of the machines. Anyway, no more pissing on my idea, ok mate? I would rather you say something like shut the fuck up with stupid idea! Cheers Who said anything about sarcasm? "Sasquatch Dueler" has been picked up by EA games and is looking at an early 2006 release if i can get the right team together.

Idunno, man, I've heard that the market is really good for card-battle games right now. Maybe we should change genres. And with EA games, the release will be two weeks after we start, because at EA, games are developed by Satan's minions feeding off the life energy of strapped-down developers.
