The hazmat guys aren't set up to be player models, Alex told me himself that they just weren't skinned to support the player animations. A redone masterson would be welcome, I always liked him as he reminded me of Christopher Eccleston in 28 days later.
I think Alex is pretty against adding any player models that would go against the "military squad facing down zombies" sort of theme KF's got going on. That's why there are no civilian models or why he didn't aim to make the Hazmat guys playable characters.
Maybe if Alex decides to make the Feud gametype in the future, he can add a bit of code to make it so that people can choose a larger variety of characters for the Fued gametype and only DRF type characters for the Survival gametype.

The masterson model just does not fulfill the 2.0 standards.. Well, so if the model hasn't Player-Pawn standard animations at least, than there'll be more work than i thought. With that info in mind, it seems not worth to me now. EDIT: Ehrm ... wait ... there's the Final-Boss-Masterson from KF1.0 Singleplayer comming into my mind ... He was moving arround and got IMO the standard animations, that are needed. Even if faust / alex are not gonna take them in with the patch, I could release it at my own - Guess the download rate for this will explode

how about a change in the zombie skins, like clothing or get rid of that stupid smile........... How about you read something and know that they aren't zombies off of the streets and that clones don't like going shopping?

Smiles? But of course, if I was a mutant abomination with the strength to tear random people to pieces with two or three well aimed shrugs.... Hell, I'd smile too.
Point is, they could, in theory add clothes, but then we have two unpleasant side-effects: every specimen of a kind wears the same clothing (not cool) or you will see a definite slowdown in the mod progress as there will be a need to make all the new models and textures... Not speaking of the extra stress this would cause on a computer running the game.
So, really, don't. Naked clones from hell fit better in a nightmare realm than devils wearing Prada.

"So, really, don't. Naked clones from hell fit better in a nightmare realm than devils wearing Prada."
I like that quote, +10 points for pop culture reference too. I actually like the nakedness... makes them kind of unsettling and stand-outish. Monsters are supposed to get under your skin... I think these do a good job.
We could have flying fried shrimp, a jive-talking flower and a dead tarantula for monsters, but those would be dull, and without the help of an obnoxious Japanese kid with a baseball bat, we'd be screwed.
