It's damage has been raised by alot, as far as I know, now it's the shotty of the ranged weapons. The xbow being the Hunting shotty of the ranged weapons.

My review Based on #/10 First Words: Killing Floor, first off, is a great cooperative UT2K4 mod. It has good modders as well as fan base. The 1.0 was such a amazing mod. 2.0 was fantastic. However like 1.0, 2.0 had some issues (other than bugs)
Graphics: The graphics in 1.0 featured grittyness beyond belief. It fitted the mood. This however changed it and it was alot more better looking. Everything looked more real than fiction. Models were completely remodeled. This fixed some weird looking things we would see in the models. All of the zombies however are naked. For me, I didn't like this too much because I begin to get a little uncomfortable, especially if someone is in the room and they see me shooting a horde of zombies from a nudist camp. I love the new look but I rather not see zombie ass when I die. 5 points
Gameplay: The gameplay has been changed in some ways. Now there are weapons you can grab from the floor instead of buying them. The zombies are MUCH tougher which is fun. Before in 1.0 you did your shopping with a locker that was avialible 24/7. In 2.0 you have a "Trader" who lookes like the wife of the merchant in Resident Evil 4. Now I enjoy that they toyed around with the idea but I feel that the trader became more of a problem once I began to use it. First off, for newcomers it's a HUGE pain since they don't know where it is and it;s timed. Second, you can only use it during that period where there is no zombies. This becomes nothing but a repetative dash for the merchant. Usually you end up (if you didn't wait outside her door) with like 5 or 7 (sometime 2) seconds to do your shopping. I understand I can get stuff from outside but I do need ammo and maybe a gun I can't pickup or find. The locker was much easier to locate since there was 2 usually per level and they could be opened mid wave. This allowed for some quick restock. The zombies are tougher, so I need supplies when I need them. But because you have to run for the trader and your shopping is timed you end up under supplied and usually die. This hurts the gameplay because I would like to survive for longer than 2 waves. Also I can't toy around with what my inv layout is. The game still is fun with the new sirens and bloats making running a second thought. 3 Points

Last Words: KF2.0 is a great mod and I recommend but it has some issues I wish weren't there. One just being kind of annoying to see and another hurting the gameplay deeply. I was mixed about 2.0, part of me is happy and another is disappointed

The Xbow and winchester were like bartering goods before the rebalancing if I found them, right now I love both of them ^-^

The xbow being the Hunting shotty of the ranged weapons. does this mean my prayers have been heard? this would be sooo cool ;D about the pipe and the axe: the timing is more difficult to learn but i will train my butcher-skills and will show of like a pro using these effective tools. by the way the animation is complete logical: first pull back, then hit hard. ....SPLATT ;D about the shop: there is simple strategy. when the wave goes to its end retreat to the shop bringing the last few specimen with you and kill them in front of the shopdoor. now you have 30 to 45 seconds to do your buisness. you can push this method further: kill em all...exept one. best use a single glot. now have a little walk with him. "gassi gehen" as we german say . in the meantime all other can collect ammo and weapons, look around in the level, noobs can learn how to find the shop, pros can rehearse trickjumps or can take screenshots of stacked playermodels. when everyone is done bring the speci to the shop, gather around the glot and shoot at him at the same time. the one who earns the money is the winner and may enter the shop first ;D well this is of course semi-serious i`m looking forward to the next release

Yea, but the winchester as a shotty has been taken out.. the sheer destruction of it would make it uber unbalanced.
