Well, 1st of all: Ehrm, yea, forgot one thing: It's uber-PC-lagging at the starting screen but ingame it's lagfree. But anyways, I can't wait, till my friends come online for some nice Zombie hunt action ^^ Your sig has 4 boobs! WRONG ... If you're that blind, how come you play an aiming-game?! I tried to join some Servers yesterday, the problem is: I can't join anywhere, except the "listen"-Server of my m8 ... well, dunno whats wrong there exactly ... ok w/e, I'm sure you guys can fix it When I was playing with my m8 yesterday, I had an idea for that game: You all know the RPG mutator for UT2k4 (mostly used in Invasion / V.Invasion)? Wouldn't it be nice if it would be possible to gain experience by killing Zeds, to raise your stats (For example: Stamina -> Run/Reload faster Aiming / Weapon knowledge -> More damage Strength -> Makes you possible to wear vest / LAW (and so on) ....)? - I mean, just as an mutator for that game What you guys think about it?

That'd be pretty sweet, however there's going to have to probably be a cap limit or something... We don't want the games being so easy that experienced pros can come in and kick the crap out of zomies, leaving nubs with only shreds.

But if it would be done it'd be a 3'rd party mut I thought about saving the level of everyone serversided (like the RPGMutator do) - Reseting it every round would miss the point of that mutator. Levelcap can be adjusted by the admin in the server.ini, as like he could set up the needed experience for each level (Still same as RPGMutator). After reaching levelcap, players dont gain any skillpoints anymore, to increase any stats (that's automaticaly), now it's all about how you skilled your marine. So it's all about the admin: - The admin can set it up, so that players hardly get EXP and have more fun killing and long time fun by skilling their marines out. - The admin can set it up, so that players get uber-EXP to skill their marine, as they like and play on the server with their skillings. (The point of the mutator is to give every player the chance to grow a unique fighter).

hi, im new here. well actually my account was deleted or something when everything changed. I have a couple of questions about KF 2.0 first of all, is it beta right? because I've been experiencing some bugs and other stuff. Only two things happen to me: 1-Missing textures: things like the soldier_black and soldier_urban skins are missing, the beret of cpl.powels is not red, it's missing and it's now green(actually it has parts of the soldier knee). there is a zombie that is quite transparent, I know it has to be that way, but it has this things on the body(like the crawler, those hairs on the back) but instead of being semi-transparent, the things aren't and the hair skin has malcolms head on it. 2-the maps: the maps are all pretty good, but I can actually get out from them!, for example, the westlondon map where in 1.0 there was the "the end is fucking nigh" painted on a truck, there is a fence next to it. in 1.0 i couldn't get out, but now I can! and I can see the map through the walls.
another thing that isn't a problem but it's annoying is the main menu. The thing is so laggy that I spend more time trying to get to the instant action menu than playing.
sorry about all this, but it's quite annoying right now, and I though everything was properly tested and finnished, then why this is happening to me?

Garompa; The 2.0 if "the final", actual release. If you'd checked up the forum a bit more, you'd notice it was in beta-testing for quite a long time. The bugs you mentioned have already been mentioned several times, and seems to happen to most of us (noticed the texture-problems myself). Also the 2.0 uses some shaders and filthers for nicer visuals, meaning it may need a bit stronger machine to play well (the mainmenu's background's an actual map which gets rendered in real time). I don't experience actual lag on it, more like a slowdown. and had to ask: "Finnished"? no, it's not that finnish game after all

History: UGameEngine::Init <- InitEngine <- FMallocWindows::Free <- FMallocWindows::Free" Am I doing something wrong? I got all the updates and stuff. Is It my graphics card or what?

You want to keep KF alive as long as possible, but only new Maps wont be enough - trust me ... And just, 'cuz YOU want new maps, nothing else should be done?! *lol*
