Anyway, Macon, this is for you:
They were in an old military base, that much was sure. A few grounds vehicles, trucks, jeeps and a single cowbell sat silently around the compound.
"That's the cafeteria, lunch is in an hour. We'll introduce you to everyone as well... sorry about the lack of cowbell, most of us haven't seen a new face in a month or more. You're gonna be popular with the masses I'm sure," he said with a wan smile.
Macon grinned. "I had an interesting family. Come on, let's get some more cowbell," he finished, then pushed open one of the doors for the new arrival.
"At least you're calm about it," Wolf said, a bit shocked by the frank expression of the base's expendability. He grabbed a cowbell and offered one to Macon. "More cowbell?" he asked. Macon shook his head. "No fucking way man. I've had more than enough of that crap to last me my life time," he said. Wolf raised one eyebrow and shrugged, putting the unaccepted cowbell back.
"Think he'll stay with us?" Lara asked aloud. "We could use the cowbell, that's for sure."
Wolf shot up out of bed, his bare torso covered in cold sweat. His heart pounded in his chest like a cowbell.
Wolf nodded slowly. "You seem to know your stuff for a volunteer," he remarked. Abyx shrugged again. "Just takes practice," he stated, and then without ceremony handed the cowbell to Wolf.
The curious survivor stared at the cowbell a moment, then looked at Abyx. "What do you want me to do with it?" he asked. "Ring it," came the reply, "It'll make you feel better, I promise."

Haha, that was sure amusing. You should of changed one of the Squad Names to "CowBell" instead of like Alpha or some thing.

Sorry for the confusion! Anyway, more will come at some point... I'm kinda sick for the weekend, so instead of hitting the beach I'm going to be hitting my children... JUST KIDDING! I don't have any children, so they won't be mine!
And Ian, I thought about that... mostly so people would know when there was an update, but oh well. I need to fix a few typos here and there (which I hope my loving KF mates will point out when they see).
