Points for just HITTING something with a weapon? hOly shit What's next? Your score slowly regenerates over time? Points for jumping? All of you, get real. Hmmmm, you really are averse to any suggestions. Not points for just hitting something, points for doing a certain amount of damage. Let's say there's a flesh pound and you emptied 3 clips into it, it's almost dead, then someone comes along and gets the last shot and a load of points for it. What has become one of the most popular mutators of all time uses this system, and it's popular because it's more balanced and fair and improves gameplay. Points for jumping? Regenerating points? Where is the comparison? Seems like it's you who needs to get real, and try to be more open-minded. I can understand you've had a hard time with this mod project, but you really need to be less condescending and petulant to people who are only pointing out bugs or making relevant suggestions because they like the mod and want to see it do well. It's all I see when I read your posts on these forums. |

this idea may have to wait ...it looks hard and probably is, like to say battlfield 2 wich has an excellent kill damage assist program took atleast 7 expert coders to make ..it was 10 hours before the thing was recognisable and a day befor the beta came for the mappers and art workers.
should take a 5 days for the ten hours thing.
coding is a difficulty buisness, mapping is not so harsh.
one bug about it is that u can get points for standing on a monsters head because it counts as damage but may not hurt it.
its a realy bad idea for a set amount of damage, should be once the monster dies.

This way, you get a score total equal to the amount of effort you contribute to your team, instead of a score total based on who happens to get the killshot in. I was in a game last night where I got almost every one of the first wave kills due to sheer luck, and the guy couldn't buy a weapon after first round  So what, exactly, is wrong with this suggestion? |
