Well thats great firefront had a crappy download speed so I went with the extreme as wasted an Hour downloading a faulty version! sheesh.
I think I will wait till the patch is out before downloading anything more.

Really? I had the extremeplayer's version, worked perfectly, now I have filefront version, KFsetup, doesnt work, makes me download textures... I didn't have any problems at all before I changed... EDIT: I only tried THOF's server with the new one... maybe thats why? Maybe they had the faulty version so it worked with mine? god i feel like im sorrounded by people with two brain cells .... does this ring a bell VERSION CONFLICT |

it's not that the proper version is that buggy. There were two versions out there for the last day or two, and alot of people grabbed the wrong one.
BTW
If you dont have the correct Install of KFmod when the patch comes...it wont work anyway
Any further patches will only work with the proper KFsetup.exe

Ok I'll give Filefront another go Alex. Will I have sounds with the new version and the axe work correctly? Or is that a patch thing, and is there a way around the cutscene bug because loading resume game doesnt work for me it just stays at the menu. I also download the bonus pack, thanks. ;-)
To Moo, not everyone has a T1 line and goes to school still. I have been out of school fo over 10 years. lol BU then again that doesnt count college. lol But there were no PC internet things back then. File front for me was slower, and I am NOT a member and that could make a difference.

By the way, if you still don't know what version you have, simply lanuch the game.
If the bottom 3 buttons in the main menu are very close together and kind of seperated from the other buttons, you have the wrong build. If they are all evenly spaced (or at least close to it) you have the right version.

Okay I have the correct setup without the capital S and at the end it says - Killing Floor v1.0 - www.killingfloor.freedomsnet.net/Consult the Readme document in the KFmod\Readme\ folder for more information on the game. Seems to work fine for me, maybe you installed the buggered version of the game on ur non-server? Maybe it was just changed for no reason at all... who knows.... but it seems to have worked for you  |

Youneed to run it from the shorcut that the mod installer makes with the -mod in the command and it will do just fine. I have to sleep its 3am but the server is still loaded with poeple.
