Ok, first things first!...
Click on a static mesh .... then click INVERT (the black / blue box with two mini boxes in) ... This will now select everything in the map.
Go to Tools > Scale Map ... and try selecting ... im not sure ... about 0.7

easy! hold shift and press A,this should highlight all brushes and actors.press tools at the top and then *SCALE MAP*. in here *factor* is what you want your map to go to from your current map,so 0.5 should be half the size,.0.2 1/5 the size and so on,make sure *Adjust lights is set to true* aswell as everything else (spirits is set to false, and i dont know what it it,but it works for me without it) Hit OK and voila! it should work,if not *USE GOOGLE*

Most mappers will probably have had that same problem. There is a map scaler option which I haven't used -- Unrealed being what it is I'll leave it alone until I need it or some kind person explains it > maybe they will here ^^. Whoohoo, during my writing of this post, Kick3r has explained it. Nath2008uk too! So that I have an idea of scale I'll place the Trader -- she's about player size. You could also can use actor > pawn > "the players." Alex has also mentioned in a post about the sizes for the FPs -- so they can fit thru doors. In the room pictured -- if that problem happened to me (and it has), I'd lower the wall pics -- maybe use wall lights / throw a few more scaled bits in the room. Too small is worse and I've done that too

You use different keystrokes I think for rotating static meshes. I personally always do it in the 2d View's as to make sure everything is aligned correctly. Try doing it that way, rather than the perspective view.

3atme. You should search the internet for good tutorials. Now offense now, but asking about every tiny thing, could in time become a little boring.

Here's a better plan than any of the above. START PRESSING RANDOM BUTTONS AND CLICKING THINGS it's how KF started.

Button mashing never lets you down ^-^ Else try the Unreal wiki ;D Got to compliment you on the detail on the door though. Better than I've seen a lot of people who know the basic UED stuff do.

Have to agree with that. And I guess you're alluding to the doorframe as well. Random clicking is good, shouting too, which is presently happening as I try to connect 2 computers. The annoying bit is having to stop and think logically, like, how does the process actually f@#$@%ing work?
