on the second wave, the blockage at the bottom of the stairs is supposed to break when the enemys come down? if so,if a player stands infront (not sure) then it wont break, and they will pile, making game play alot easier for other players to shoot them.

Fix it up so that it looks better too and I'll play it.

It looks fine as it is and it's one of the best maps for KF so I think you are shooting yourself in the foot a little bit there.

Fix it up so that it looks better too and I'll play it. "Looks better??" At least you can see it. It's an amazing map with tons of atmosphere. Has to be one of the best, but it's not for noobs. And only NOW I learn about Tower's exploits, darn it. Don't tell Pix anything about any more glitches please!! You can tell me though ;D

Tower is an amazing map, and I totally agree with Asnipe that it is definately not a map for noobs. It would benefit from extra detail, but dont overdo it. Glitches unfortuntely Im not too aware off, its a rare occasion I actually get to higher waves on this map due to players not playing as a team.
I have however finished Tower and can say it is a great map, one of the best.

Personally, although it isn't a glitch, I would do away with the 'Skaarj boss' at the end. Almost everyone forgets its there and gets blasted in the shop while he sneaks up from behind.
Actually saying that perhaps limit him to the main hall at the end of the map?
Sorry if I gave away the end of it but it really annoys me when everyone gets to the final wave and they all die due to one enemy.

Tower is a conceptual map (as are all maps I create). I've played enough maps that are visually top-notch, but are essentially just a big bore, to know that's not my (main) field.
Anyway. Screenshots added.

Thanks Madmax for ending clues, it hasn't spoilt it for me. I had just learned about the way down and I'm looking forward to going there. And as Grim says, a good team is needed which is how I first made it to the Tower top.
Decoration, hmmm that would probably place it / date it. It feels like derelict European castles I've visited. So the lack of decor feels real to me. Adding more decor may just give it a date. At present Tower could be any moment in time. If anything I guess, chip a few holes here and there, strew bricks. But there is debris with the blocked areas already.
Try it with a good team, Maul, it's a darn good play.

okay, point taken. I like atmosphere though. AS do my friends, or rather friend. I only have the one. Or at least the one who plays Killing Floor. Its just a weird thing I have, and I don't think I'm alone in saying this, but running along a hallway being chased by stuff heart beating in your chest is awesome, until you stumble upon a big hole into nothingness or a gap that just plain looks terrible...then you remember that its just a game and the fun leaves. That is why I personally believe that an immersive and predominately mostly perfected (in all the areas that matter) map is most important to the mechanics of a Survival Horror game. That is just my opinion, and I guess that is why Alex is trying to make it more atmospheric rather than fix glitches

Yeah but then you end with Doom 3 which is incredibly moody but insanely dull to play!
Not that that's a crack at Alex it's just a common risk you run.

When this first came out, Me Pix and 1 other person beat it. I think it was the first time for him online and it's because we all played as a team. When anyone needed help, we were always helping out. So Antigod is right, PLAY AS A TEAM.
Hope to see you online sometime PIX!
