I never can find glitches -- RoBot on roof Very nice pics as usual RoBot. Survived until sirens and one was standing beside me -- me dead. From large maps to small. I liked the inventive meshed tyres and the doors. As Maul said, fog helps a map and those trees were creepy already, so with fog, shiver. Adding fog: First add a zoneinfo (actor > info > zoneinfo). In the Zoneinfo of zoneinfo >bdistanceFog > TRUE. Next in zonelight > distanceFogStart try -3000 and see how it goes. Probably -1000 or less (maybe -700) would be okay for "Greenbaytires." In bigger maps if you add fog, you should also look at Zonelight > DistanceFogEnd (default 8000) increase it (15000 even 18000) if you get the distance blackout effect. RoBot mentioned the fuzzy effect static meshes, which is just Icantechi placing 2 textures too close together. When making the meshes, leave a slight distance so the textures aren't so close together. As I said in my KF-GothicV2 readme, I got a lot of this info from UDN, Unrealwiki, and other helpful mapper sites online. In this way, their info is often sharper and more indepth than mine. Thanks for your hard work, fun map -- creative and different, so its interesting!

Thanks Asnipe I have finished updateing KF-DSDB-DesertedBuilding with fog and more has been done to it. The way I learnt the fundamentals of mapping was simply by starting a map project. By only learning wat I needed to get done...eg i wanted a window I find a window tutorial...i want a skybox i get that tutorial. That way you only learn what you need. But get a really good map done quicker due to the fact that you are experimenting while simultaneously making progress on a map. Its been working well on my map Hotel which is taking forever but I know its gonna be loved...its a little gem. Don't tell anyone that its my first map ;D

Pleasure -- it's always nice to see fog suddenly appear in a map -- gives a mapper a feeling of power somehow I agree, best way to map, Maul. RoBot will be pleased when he sees his finished idea, 'Hotel' in action in KF. Maybe you could put a texture of his drawing plan of the Hotel map in your map somewhere?
