FranticUsing the same idea as for Tower, this map takes place at a military compund. It's built in stages, like Tower, but is more objective-based, and enables for the players to be guided into different routes each time the map loads, using random numbers. I've supplied with some screenshots, but it's really not a lot to see so far. Stage: Alpha Progress: ~35% Screenshots: 1 2 3Download: www.filefactory.com/file/3f77c7/ (along with Hubv5) Available on:Geisterbahn Credits:Grex- voiceactingMadMax- musical piece

Excellent, I asked the question in the Tower map thread if you were gonna continue making these kind of maps, and you are yippeee.
Looking forward to this one, I await the alpha release...
**EDIT** Pix any news on this awesome sounding map? Thanks for letting me know the Alpha wasnt ready, let me know if you need any help Alpha/Beta testing.
Cheers

Antigod(and anyone else that might be interested), for various reasons I doubt I will be able to release an alpha of this map, for a long time. I have, as you might know, made a map in-between (kf-hub), and I started playing around with this other idea I had.. And, I think this map will get a lot bigger than I had in mind, to begin with. However, here's a sketch I made that will act as template when building the map:

Looks veeerry interesting I think the dotted lines mean that the map is going underground there?

I believe the lines are a representation of terrain, Lara.
Looks cool, Pix.

This map will have a continious storyline, through-out the map. Some point by point, others more dynamic. To make for the right feel, I've chosen to include different characters, that guides the players through the map. So.. I'm looking for Voiceactors. Preferably british, and preferably 20+(although that is flexible. Voices can as you know be distorted). I need a sample (44 kHz, 16-bit mono), and I want you to record your voice with this line below. Give it a try! Send the sample to erik.johannes.b@NOSPAMPLEASEgmail.com (without the NOSPAMPLEASE) You're a DRF-captain, you're quite stressed up, yet trying to keep calm: "Okay, listen up soldiers. We have an emergency - some specimens have broken through our outer boundries. "

If you do a good british accent impression, I don't see how that should matter. .)
