This happened because of: Or along those lines, it can also occur if your Spawner is on a mesh with no collision properties. To fix simple move the spawner down a little. This picture might actually bring up an error of "Spawner is embedded in geometry" but I think you get the picture.

OMFG I DON'T BELIEVE IT. MY COMPUTER HAD A MALFUNCTION AND DELETED STUFF OFF FROM IT AND MY MAP WAS DELETED. ALL THE WORK IS GONE. NOW I HAVE TO START ALL OVER AGAIN.
But it's not that bad I didn't put a lot off details in it. It is basically for people that have a slow computer and want to play some maps with out the lag and everything, like me.
Hey I see you have Vista, is it worth getting or no? My computer is being sent off to fix and I am upgrading the memory to 2gb and video card to 500 or what ever it is and want to know if I should pay extra for Vista or not so if it's worth the money tell me.

If your getting 2gb than I say yes, since Dx10 isn't coming or XP any time soon and new games and GFX cards are coming with Dx10 id say Dx10 alone is worth getting Vista. Although somethings on vista are a pain in the ass like the whole "parental control" thing but that can be disabled fairly easy. Some games aren't compatible with vista but you can make them run in XP mode making 3/4 of the vista uncapatible games run. The first thing you may notice is a performance drop in your games but getting the latest Vista drivers for your graphics card fixes it. But yea in conclusion if you have over the recommended 1gb of RAM (I have borderline and it runs fine) then I would suggest vista.

I'd reccomend Linux Ubuntu, I'd like to see that using 2GB RAM in idle <_<

Yea but I am not a Linux fan at all so I am sticking with Windows. The only time I use it is when I mod something like my Xbox so I can play my backed up games without messing with anything important.

I have 1gb with a Intel Pentium 4 3.0GHz HT and my system idles at 3% CPU usage and 50% Memory but then again 1gb is the lowest recommended for Windows Vista.
True story actually, I was typing this message when I opened task manager to check my speeds and usages when I ended a program and Windows crashed, I got the new "Blue screen of death" and chuckled. Luckily I have Firefox and it saves my sessions. All problems aside I wouldn't trust anything other than Windows. And as soon as a performance patch comes out working on Vista will be as easy as using XP. Hey no OS is perfect the first few years.

Alright well ill walk you through the steps quick. 1. Use your Texture Browser and Goto "File>Import" 2. Find your image (Files types supported: BMP, PCX, TGA, DDS, UPT) 3. For the package name type "MyLevel" to embed the textures into the map. For group just put a name that will group the texture. (Example: Walls) For name put the name of the texture. Dont worry about the LOD spot just leave that default. 4. Hit "Ok" and see if it worked. Sometimes it wont or will show the "Unreal tournament 2004" texture on top in the texture browser I don't know if that means you did it wrong I sometimes get the same problem. PS. Hope this tutorial helps and works its how Ive been doing it. If anyone else has anything to add just do so, feel free to correct me at any part. Sorry for not having pics for step 3 and 4 MS Paint wouldn't let me paste Screen shots after 1 and 2

And as soon as a performance patch comes out working on Vista will be as easy as using XP. Hey no OS is perfect the first few years. Vista will never preform as well as XP when it comes to games. There is no "performance patch"....All that will happen is technology will advance and become more powerful to cope with Vista. True, Vista will improve. It will get better, but not for awhile, XP is still mainstream and has the most support. The only performance patch that they could make, they wouldn't, a community would do that. They would strip down Vista until it looks almost like XP, resulting in instability. So why not just use XP? DirectX 10 was Microsoft's fail-safe system basically, if Vista got bad reviews and was frowned upon, gamers would still be pushed into getting it. My computer may be as awesomely cool as Sudo to be able to run Vista idling with Aero on and at a crazy dualview res at 0% usage, but thats not really the point, 700mb of RAM is wasted on JUST that...

XP wasn't perfect on its release either. People went back to Windows 2000/Me. But either way were extremely off topic we could debate in a thread specific to Windows vista.
